Is Chris Brown Rekindling Relationship With Karrueche?
From New York Post’s Page Six:
Chris Brown seems to be swiftly over his breakup with Rihanna, falling back into the arms of his ever-forgiving ex Karrueche Tran. After Sunday’s Billboard Awards, Brown headed to the Bank nightclub at the Bellagio in Vegas for a party hosted by Bruno Mars. Our witness said, “Brown was standing on the banquette dancing with Tran . . . he bent down a few times to kiss her, and kept running his hand through her hair and singing to her.” Meanwhile Rihanna was seen dining alone in Santa Monica.
Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington Becomes Stone Temple Pilots’ New Singer
So I guess there’s no more Linkin Park? From MTV:
Despite protests from Scott Weiland earlier this year denying the news that he was booted from Stone Temple Pilots the band made the ousting even more official over the weekend when they played their debut show with a new singer: Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington.
Not only did they hook up with the singer of the multi-platinum rock-rap act for a surprise weekend gig, they’ve also recorded a new song with him, the Led Zeppelin-style cruncher “Out of Time,” which appears in teaser form on their site, along with new band pictures featuring Bennington.
“Chester has a one-of-a-kind voice that we’ve admired for a long time,” said guitarist Dean DeLeo after the group played a surprise set at KROQ’s Weenie Roast over the weekend. “We know Linkin Park will always be his priority, but we thought it would be cool to try something together. We managed to find the time to record a song and we’re all really happy with the result.”
For his part, Bennington said he’s been a fan of STP since he was 13 and that they’ve had a huge influence on him, noting that his LP bandmates have been supportive of the side gig. No details have been announced yet on how the new arrangement will work and what impact it will have on LP’s next album, or if Bennington will tour with STP; for now, the group has a second gig scheduled for Club Nokia in Los Angeles on May 30.
