Jon Connor & XV Meet At A3C Festival For The First Time(Exclusive)

During our A3C excursion, we had the pleasure of running into Jon Connor before he hit the stage & XV. The two had never met formally prior to A3C so it was an honor for us to have the opportunity to ask both of them a few questions. Yes, Jon Connor actually took time to answer a few questions before hitting the stage but then again, A3C is all about networking.
Jon Connor is preparing to release to “Vinnie Chase Season 2” & states that he put his heart and soul into the project. Judging from his performance, fans will really enjoy “Vinnie Chase Season 2.” Also, Jon Connor spoke about his first festival experience, which was SXSW this year. XV is working on his album, “The Kid with the Green Backpack,” which he is working on with Just Blaze.  The reason that XV was at the show on Friday night was to check out a few shows not as a competitor but out of respect as a fan.

Drake Scores An Andre 3000 Collab For Take Care

Now the pushback makes sense. Spotted on Soul Culture:

The highly-anticipated sophomore effort Take Care from Drake suffered a three-week push-back due to sample clearance issues. However, with the album totaling 14 tracks, with an additional two bonus songs, not many fans are upset about the new date of November 15th. Fans can continue to rejoice knowing that Drake has also secured a feature from the now-mystical Andre 3000.

News has arrived that in an interview with The Fader to be featured in their 76th Issue, Drizzy’s right-hand producer Noah “40″ Shebib revealed that Andre 3000 is featured on a song that he produced on Drake’s forthcoming project. After talking about wanting a Andre 3000 feature for so long after being turned down on his debut LP Thank Me Later, it looks like Drizzy Drake finally got his wish granted.

Diddy’s Credit Card Info Gets Jacked

Was looking for a Diddy pic, found this, laughed, decided to use it anyway.

From TMZ:

Diddy is on a mission to find the person who stole the numbers to his personal American Express Black Card and posted them on a web site this week … TMZ has learned.

Earlier this week, someone who clearly has a beef with Diddy, posted copies of the rap mogul’s super exclusive credit card on a website, along with his passport and private phone numbers.

The website where the info is posted seems to make a vague reference to the ridiculous rumors that Diddy is a member of the Illuminati … a secret society rumored to run the world.

Sources close to Diddy tell us … he is aware of the situation and has launched an internal investigation to find the person responsible.

A rep for Diddy had no comment.

Nas Celebrates 20 Years In Hip-Hop; Interviewed By Tyler, the Creator In XXL

Spotted on Karen Civil:
This is a special year for Nas, who has a few anniversaries to celebrate including the release of his first verse ever. The Queensbridge poet, who’s gearing up for the release of his 10th solo album, Life Is Good, helped to pioneer shock rap with his timeless breakout verse on 1991’s “Live at the Barbeque,” with lines like “When I was 12, I went to hell for snuffing Jesus.” With that in mind, XXL Magazine recruited a new controversial MC, Odd Future’s frontman Tyler, the Creator, who’s a longtime Nas fan, to interview the veteran MC for the November issue’s cover story.

Who would have guessed the two rappers would have hit it off so well. Throughout an in-dept interesting conversation that lasted over an hour-and-a-half, Nas and Tyler touched on a variety of topics including: music, religion, family, decision making, drugs, the Internet, and even Star Wars.
