Common x Jennifer Hudson x Lupe Fiasco x No I.D. – We Can Do It Now

Season 3 of Gatorade REPLAY, documented through the Emmy-nominated REPLAY the Series on FSN, reunites two major names in Chicago basketball – the Bloom Township Trojans and the Brother Rice Crusaders. In 2000, their game was one for the ages. A state playoff game that decided who would go “downstate” to the Elite 8 and who would go home. With just seconds left and the game tied at 40-40, a desperation tip-in from Bloom standout, Joe Chapman, was counted. One problem. The shot clock buzzer was drowned out by the roar of the crowd so a firing pistol was also used to signal the end of the game. The ball left Chapman’s hands before the firing pistol but after the buzzer, shrouding that final shot in controversy for more than a decade. Well, it’s about time to settle the score and determine an undisputed victor once and for all.

Sneaker Pimps 2010 At Lux Lounge In DC

You should already know what this is–the near perfect combination of Hip-Hop and footwear (*ahem* I personally decided to take it back with the classic Air Raids *ahem*). The cream of the crop of the DC area shared the stage with the likes of Curren$y, Skillz and more as Lux Lounge was nothing short of standing room only. Check out some pics of the event after the jump (check out even more pics on our Facebook page).

Beyonce Central

Beyonce – I Am… Tour Mini-Documentary:

It’s a really difficult time right now with the economy and I know a lot of my fans won’t be able to afford the really expensive seats so I made it a point to make sure that there are actually 2000 seats in the venue that are $20 plus service fees and I’m really excited about that because this show has so much of my heart and soul into it and I want all of my fans to be able to experience it.

I know who I am at 26. That is a beautiful thing. I think that’s the best thing to know and if you go to college and you’re educated and you know all of the theories and know all of the answers that’s one thing, but when you know who you are …. that is the beginning of wisdom. Some artists are so blessed and so favored but they don’t take it serious, they take advantage of all of the people that love them and I couldn’t imagine that.

Sometimes I wonder why me? Why did God give me this life? Sometimes I wonder why did God give me my talent, my gift, my family? Why wasn’t I born in poverty but I know you are not suppose to question God so I’m grateful for the life he’s given me. I would never take it for granted. I listen to that intuition and I’m not going to change. No, I’m living my dreams. -Beyonce
