The-Dream’s Open Letter To Christina Milian

So, after the fallout due to this, The-Dream’s PR Team The-Dream decided to write a letter for damage control to his now estranged wife Christina Milian. Read below:

In My Own Words:

First I want to thank God for the trials of life, without them we can’t know purpose!

I would love to tell the truth as to why my relationship wasn’t successful, but today that is between me and Christina. Its easy to say that it’s because of another woman or a new relationship but truthfully, IT’S NOT.

I take FULL RESPONSIBILITY for misleading everyone into thinking everything was fine and okay when we knew problems existed for awhile! I wanted to speak up but we decided it wasn’t for anyone to know. I would NEVER intentionally hurt a soul and everyone around me knows that! There was so much going on in me and Christina’s personal world that I tried to deal with it as delicately as I could and tried to regain my footing. Instead of being direct in order not to cause even more hurt or hurt someone’s feelings, I carried the weight in secret!

I am Human and people fall in and out of Love all the time… This is Life. Nothing’s promised or perfect, neither am I. I am not proud that I lost something we once had…LOVE! I’ve always been a Loving Father, Hard Worker, Generous, Stern and Eager to prove myself. My faults are I can be irresponsible and an ass sometimes, but I HAVE NEVER and WILL NEVER be a malicious person or wish harm to anyone, especially those I love or the mother of my child. I’m sorry for the embarrassment to everyone involved! If there’s anyone to blame and you can’t fathom this happening, please blame me and me alone for not being upfront! Even though we were trying to overcome personal things between us, I was just simply scared and embarrassed to let everyone know we WERE FAILING and HAVE NOW FAILED!

This is not to justify anything, it’s true emotion! It’s a real thing that involves real people! I’ve cried about this for months, after interviews, after prayer and I’ve tried to take my own life at a point because of the failure that was looming.

But I was reminded by my MOTHER that I am not “Superman” and its okay to lose sometimes…

This too shall pass! And everything will be fine!

Publicity stunt or genuine? I wonder how Christina Milian will respond…

Big Boi In Rolling Out Magazine

Not the traditional interview style, and a very good read. Check out the full article here.
Moments before his photo shoot with rolling out, Antwan “Big Boi” Patton pulled up to PPR Inc. in a 2010 BMW 650 CI convertible. One of the first two Atlantans to own the $98,000 car, the vehicle serves as a subtle testament to what Big Boi has achieved since the days he drove an old-school Cadillac following the release of OutKast’s debut, Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik.
Big Boi emerged from the driver’s side of the 650 CI as if there was no task on earth too large for him to accomplish. He wore a crisp pair of red, black and blue Air Jordans VI Pistons, a multicolored ATLien shirt designed by Chilly-O and a black New Era baseball cap that featured a green Atlanta Hawks logo from the 1980s.

After briefly discussing the concept for the cover with the production crew, Big Boi took a seat in an antique wooden chair that served as a throne for his first photo look. He reclined comfortably as the entire room acknowledged his commanding presence. Never afraid to take on demanding responsibilities or appreciate the benefits of leadership, the throne fit Big Boi perfectly. Welcome to the world of Sir Lucious Left Foot.

Rock (Of Heltah Skeltah) Is Not Guilty

From Suge White:

Rock from the acclaimed group Heltah Skeltah has been found not guilty in an attempted murder case stemming from a shooting incident that left a pimp paralyzed. Dru Ha, the CEO of Duck Down Records, made the announcement.

“Exhale for Rock & congratulations to his attorney Kenneth Montgomery for the NOT GUILTY VERDICT! Incredible job,” Dru Ha said via Twitter. Rock was accused of being a moonlighting as a pimp at night and shooting a rival in January of 2008. He was eventually released on $125,000 bail and proclaimed his innocent in the alleged shooting, assault and the assertion that he is a pimp.

Despite the legal matters, Rock refused to sensationalize the case and released D.I.R.T. (Da Incredible Rap Team) with Heltah Skeltah rap partner Sean “Ruck” Price. Rock was party to a recent celebration of Duck Down’s 15th Anniversary on Tuesday at BB King’s Club in New York. Look out for the new mixtape Rock has coming out with Suge White, “Rockin Out West.”

For those who don’t know what the hell he’s talking about…congrats, can’t wait to hear some more music.
