J. Cole Reveals Three Songs Off His Upcoming Album

From SoulCulture TV:

Hours before setting the London stage alight at yesterday’s Wireless Festival, Roc Nation emcee J. Cole talked to SoulCulture TV about three of the tracks scheduled to appear on his debut album later this year.

The rapper reveals self-produced â€˜Won’t Be Long’, described as “kinda in the vein of ‘I Get Up’,” along with a No I.D. produced song called â€˜Never Told’ and a track called â€˜Wet Dreams’ are all set to feature on his forthcoming LP this October.

In addition, there is supposedly a big announcement coming sometime next week (perhaps at least the album title?)

Blu – Big Bang Big Boom

Admittedly, when I came across this, I only opened it because I though it was LA emcee Blu. Quite frankly, this is an AMAZING work of art:

Having caught the eye of many with their previous artistic efforts, Blu’s latest “Big Bang Big Boom” is sure to illicit a number of responses for another remarkably well-done and creative piece. Combining cinematography, painting and installation work, the level of interaction amongst Blu’s work and the real-world is phenomenal as they aim to offer their two cents on the theory of evolution.

Random Reflective R&B Hour

Let me first say screw everyone on here that thought they were getting nothing but hip-hop. Although that’s mainly what you get here, tonight, thanks to both the under-the-influence females I’m around and my forced sobriety, I’m going to throw up some videos that take us back to those days…when…shit, I don’t know.

Gerald Levert – Funny

Mint Condition – Nothing Left To Say

Lisa Fischer – How Can I Ease The Pain

More sappy love songs after the break.

Music – So Beautiful

Lyfe Jennings – Must Be Nice

Vivian Green – Emotional Rollercoaster

Lauryn Hill – Ex-Factor

Jaheim – Finding My Way Back

Let me first say screw everyone on here that thought they were getting nothing but hip-hop. Although that’s mainly what you get here, tonight, thanks to both the under-the-influence females I’m around and my forced sobriety, I’m going through throw up some videos that take us back to those days….when…shit, I don’t know. Tank – Sex Music

Tank is back! After leaving Blackground records in 2007 and signing a new deal at Atlantic Records, Tank returns with a hot track that will probably be banging in a lot of bedrooms and clubs for the remainder of the summer. Sex Music is the first single off the upcoming album Now or Never, due out in September.

She smiles, I smile
She walks, no she glides softly by me changing night into day
She opens her mouth to speak, and so sounds ring in my head
She speaks, and i want to dance to her rhythm
She moves ever so gently, increasing my desires,
As i place my arms around her waist,
Hold and squeeze unto me,
I want to melt into her body, and discover the base of her warmth
Her beautiful black body that, no human mind could ever conceive
She’s love
She’s truth
She’s real, as real as the stars that shine in the heavens
As real as the sun that bathes her body,
As real as the moon that glows and the birds that sing and the rose
That blossoms in spring for she is that rose
And not just any rose,
But a black rose,
Black rose stands tall and stronger than any other plant
A black rose, that stands as creator, of nations of
Black rose
That never loses her petals, and blossoms all year round
Black rose,
Sweet rose,
Thornless rose
Eternal rose
Please look my way,
Please look my way
Please look my way
Black rose

‘Mind Sex’ – Unknown

Lil Wayne x Gucci Mane – Steady Mobbin’

I spoke on this before as far as their inability to shoot the video together…here is the finalized product.

No disrespect to DJ Scoob Doo and his camera skills (1) i like his videos and 2) he very well might be doing this on purpose), but every thing he does looks like…a documentary. Meaning, even his music videos don’t look like music videos…it’s like he doesn’t have any idea how to make something look like it isn’t just raw footage even if he wanted to…
