TMZ reports:

Pauly D wanted his baby mama to have an abortion … and here’s how we know. His baby mama is trying to sell texts he sent to her urging her to end the pregnancy.

TMZ has learned … Amanda Markert is trying to hawk the text messages to various media outlets in which Pauly asked her to end the pregnancy and he offered to foot the bill.

Sources tell TMZ … at the time Pauly felt it was the right thing to do, partly because of the way the baby was conceived. There was no plan to have a child … and the fact is it was a one-night stand.

As TMZ first reported … Pauly has come around in a big way, not only trying to see the baby but he’s fighting for custody.

By the way, get this — sources close to Pauly say Amanda actually took the money for the abortion, but then … obviously … decided to keep the child.

The St. Louis Rams Reach Out To Brett Favre

Broadway Brett makes his Jets debut

NY Post reports:

The Rams are desperate for a quarterback … and relevancy.

Since Sam Bradford tore his ACL in Sunday’s loss to the Panthers, the team reportedly has discussed Tim Tebow and called 44-year-old Brett Favre. According to an ESPN report, the team asked Favre to unretire, but he turned them down.

“It’s flattering,” Favre told 570 Sports Talk in Washington, “but there’s no way in hell I’m going to do that.”

One source told ESPN if Favre said yes, “It could break Twitter.” Seems like the 3-4 Rams are trying to follow the headlines-first blueprint the Jets used by signing … Favre then Tebow. Favre has not played since 2010 and has been spending time working on his Mississippi farm and coaching high school football.

“I do watch games, [but] I don’t watch them a lot,” Favre told the station. “I can honestly sit here and say I don’t go ‘I want to do that’ or ‘I feel like I could do that better.’ I leave that up to other people. I think if anything the last year I played was an obvious, writing-on-the-wall vision for you, if you will. It was time.  … When I left the NFL, it felt like I didn’t need to stick around. I didn’t need to be a part of it to feel like I had a purpose in life.”

Instead of adding Favre or Tebow, the Rams added Brady Quinn, who was released by the Jets on Monday, and Austin Davis. Quinn will back up another former Jets quarterback, Kellen Clemens, who spent five years backing up Chad Pennington, Favre and Mark Sanchez in New York.

“That’s your role as the backup,” Clemens said, according to ESPN.com. “You’re the emergency plan that nobody really hopes gets used, but that’s the situation that we’re in.”

TLC Speaks On Lady Gaga Collaboration

TLC sat down with Rap-Up for a sit down interview and talked about their upcoming collaboration on a new song — entitled ‘Posh Life’ — with Lady Gaga off their 2014 release. The song was co-written by Dallas Austin & Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga was going to use the song for her ARTPOP album but she said “it was too TLC. She didn’t want to offend TLC ’cause she was such a fan.”

Gay Rappers Criticize Eminem For “Rap God” Lyrics

AllHipHop reports:

Two openly gay performers released statements about what they view as homophobic slurs on the track. One of those critics, singer-songwriter/rapper Solomon, had previously appeared on Eminem’s satellite radio channel Shade 45.

“When he invited me on his radio station a few years ago, I thought he put all of this aside,” stated Soloman. “He’s using the word f*ggot to degrade another man. As if the worst thing a man can be is gay. What type of message does that embed into the minds of young kids, both gay and straight?”

“He’s a lil’ too old to be using gay and f*g and sh*t as an insult; playground  s**t,” added Soloman’s labelmate and fellow openly gay rapper LastO. “It’s ironic because I’m sure when he was coming of age, more black folks walked over him…than anyone gay ever did.”

Eminem becomes the latest rap star to face heavy criticism this year over lyrical content that some have found offensive. Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, and J. Cole have all had to apologize at one point during 2013 for particular references and choice of words from one of their verses.

Video: “A Break From Toronto” – PartyNextDoor [PartyNextDoor]

Sometime all that’s needed is a video to seal the deal. …And with up’n coming R&B infused sensation PartyNextDoor, that definitely holds true.

Party-Next-Door-PARTYNEXTDOORA fan from a distant for quite some time now (ie I was feeling the music, but didn’t feel it was special enough to post), …but this joint is dope. Heard “A Break From Toronto” before, but it took the video for me to realize how good the song was.

This is why I think music videos are so important.

Not the the “Stand in front of cars, tossin’ money, in front of b*tches” type videos. But rather videos that bring out the true emotion of a song. Visual representations for the art which is the song. …Sometime you just need that to appreciate the music. This is one of those instances.

Posted the new video by Canadian rapper/singer PartyNextDoor (who recently signed to Drake’s OVO label) below. Enjoy
