French Montana – Xclusives Zone Interview

Last night, French Montana invited us to the studio and we were able to sit down with him for an interview. In the clip, he talks about his upcoming debut album ‘Excuse My French’ and the various collaborations and producers on it. He also reveals that Max B will be featured on another record called ‘Hey My Guy’, which will appear as a Best Buy bonus. French then lets us know that he had a record with Snoop Dogg and Lana Del Rey that didn’t make the album because he couldn’t clear it.

The Bad Boy artist then goes on to speak on his new single ‘Aint Worried About Nothin’, how people view him and his ‘best album of the decade’ comment. He goes on to say that his album will be the best to ever come out in Hip Hop. Finally he talks about where he wants to be in the upcoming years.

During the interview, Cannon announced his debut album (which will be titled Cannon), spoke on whether he likes better DJ’ing or producing more and how he met DJ Drama & DJ Sense to form the Aphilliates. He later spoke on how he landed the opportunity to produce the Atlanta Hawks theme song. Finally, production wise, Cannon talks about why he likes to work on any software: PC, Mac or otherwise.

N.O.R.E.’s Student Of The Game just came out today, and to celebrate….he’s already announcing a sequel, titled Student Of The Game 2: Dyslexia:

I am dyslexic. A lot of people don’t know that. A lot of people think that I pronounce words funny … people think that it’s part of my character but, actually, it’s me in real life. It doesn’t mean that I’m stupid, it doesn’t mean that I’m ignorant, it just means that I learn different from you. And that’s the reason why [the album is titled] Student of the Game, because I learn different from the average individual. I just figured, you know what, that’s the ‘part two’ to it.”
