Jeezy Gives His Side Of The Story In Freddie Gibbs Beef

Jeezy and former CTE artist Freddie Gibbs beef is very much publicized, mainly thanks to Gibbs being very vocal about his riffs with his former boss. Now, in an interview with Elliott Wilson for The Truth, we finally hear Jeezy’s side of the story:

I put him on a song with Eminem. I put him on a song with T.I. I put him on numerous mixtapes that I had. I took him on tour. Took him around the world. I spent money on videos that he didn’t use cause he didn’t like them, and it wasn’t his money.

So at the end of the day, my whole thing was to him was ‘I took you to every label in the game. They don’t wanna sign you. I don’t have no reason—I love you. You know what I’m saying? I think your music is dope, but they don’t want to sign you.’ So at the end of the day, when I called him up I was like, ‘Yo, I can’t really spend my money on you. I got family, other shit I gotta take care of. So, I’ll help you all I can, but I can’t fund it anymore.’

Cool. Conversation went well. We got off the conversation it was straight love. I hear diss records. What I’m supposed to do? I’m not replying to that. Nigga we getting money. YG just sold a million fuckking singles. At the end of the day, we all tried. It didn’t work. That shit happens in business all the time…

I still ain’t surprised, cause I don’t give a fuck. I’m still getting money. I’m still on top. You’re not gonna knock that. And I’m still having success around me, but when you listen and good things happen – we celebrate like with YG.

Deep. Other topics included the new album Seen It All, YG’s success and more. You can watch the full interview above.

The Game Scraps Blood Money Album, Announces Year Of The Wolf

game106

In a recent interview with Big Boy’s Neighborhood, The Game announced that he is no longer doing the Blood Money La Familia album (the label, which now boasts Dubb and Skeme on its roster, is still intact). What he is doing is dropping a new album titled Year Of The Wolf….why?

Wolves howl. They scream and do all of that. And I just feel like this year I got a lot to get off my chest. And with this album, man, I’m going in on a lot of people. A lot of issues. A lot of stuff. I got very angry artists that I’m signing…It’s a whole angry movement…This is Los Angeles, ladies and gentlemen. And it’s a lot of fuckery going on out here. And I’m tired of people walking around. Hitting the red carpets and feeling like, you know, feeling like they Madonna when you Ma-thot-a. Basically, what I’mma do is I’m exposing everything. Everything, everybody [can] get it. It’s like one of them tell-all books, but in music form. – The Game

Check out the interview below, where he also gives his thoughts on what 50 Cent and G-Unit have been up to.

Lil Durk Explains What Started Tyga Beef

Courtesy of Vlad TV:

Lil durk sat down with VladTV and explained exactly what started his beef with Tyga, saying it was a lyric he wrote about Tyga’s girlfriend Blac Chyna that set the feud in motion, the line being:

“What do strippers swallow? Maliah, Blac Chyna, just don’t tell Tyga.”

Durk says Tyga heard the track, asked him to change the line, and then made plans to collaborate. Tyga kept checking in to see if the line had been changed before actually sending over his verse, so Durk thought Tyga was only trying to bamboozle him into changing the lyric. Tyga never sent the verse, so Durk never changed the line. The two haven’t spoken since, although Durk insists he has no problems with Tyga at this point.

The Chicago rapper then explains the concept of “sneak dissing,” saying it’s basically talking negatively about someone when that person isn’t around, with Durk remarking that he’s had to deal with it with people he thought were friends.

Durk’s Signed To The Streets 2 is also out now.

According To Webbie, 50 Cent Owes Him A Million Dollars

To try to paraphrase, both Webbie and 50 Cent were ready present for a boxing match between Terence Crawford and Yuriorkis Gamboa…while Webbie was walking his homie Crawford into the ring, he ran into 50 (who manages the opponent Gamboa) and bet him a million dollars for the victor. Long story short, Crawford won the match, and now Webbie is looking for his 7 figures from the G-Unit boss. Good luck with that, man.

Lil Durk Explains Recent Run-In With The Game

Last week, Lil Durk had a run-in with The Game, who he’s been beefing with on wax ever since he sent out disses to The Game’s lil homie Tyga. Thankfully, cooler heads prevailed and no blood was shed in L.A.; even better, the two later squashed their beef over the phone.

Speaking with the L.A. Leakers at Power 106, Durk speaks on how that confrontation went down. In related news, the Leakers also liberated one of Lil Durk’s tracks from the forthcoming mixtape Signed To The Streets 2 (which should be dropping any second at this point).
