Sheek Louch Tells Interscope To Let The Lox Go

In an interview with VIBE, Sheek says before things go any further, it’s up to Interscope to let the Lox go.

“The Lox want to leave our current label home Interscope. We are trying to move on, but unfortunately, the label doesn’t want to let us go. We talked to Puff about coming back to Bad Boy; we gave him our counter offer and he said, ‘Yes.’ But it’s up to him to convince [Interscope head] Jimmy Iovine and Ruff Ryders to let go of their shares so we can move on.”

We are stuck in that position. As far as Kiss, myself and Styles, we are ready for a new deal. We are good with Diddy…he has agreed with what we are looking for as far as financially and everything. Other labels are also throwing offers at us to make a LOX reunion album happen. But it’s really about our lawyers moving everybody out the way and making a deal happen.”

CyHi Da Prynce Talks “So Appalled” Verse

CyHi tells Rap-Up how he sneaked his way to lay his verse down for “So Appalled”.
“I wasn’t supposed to be on ‘So Appalled’. People don’t know that. I kinda cheated. [Kanye] said, ‘Can you think of something to write on the hook?’ I peeped he was kinda sleepy at the time. So he went to sleep, went to the room or something. I stayed in the studio and I said I’m not gonna just do no hook. I’m gonna do my verse.”I did a verse and didn’t tell him the verse was on there and I hid it. He was playing the album for some very important musicians and he played the song. He don’t know my verse is gonna come on and everybody in the room goes bananas. He said, ‘I gotta keep it.’”
