It looks like dopeSMOOTHIES is hitting a sabbatical in lieu of all of the fake s*** taking place in the city. First, he blesses up with a new offering titled BYE!, which features 3 tracks for his fans to enjoy. Check it out below.

New day, new Pablo. Good day then. “This Fly” was shot by Juddy Remix Dem and produced by Ronny J.
IDK – Is He Real (Album Stream)
If you think about rappers from this area in a tier system, IDK is certainly top-tier. However, within that tier, alongside the Wales, Shy Glizzys, Rico Nastys and Q Da Fools, IDK is perhaps, still the underdog. Is He Real, his latest, a full album, might put him ahead of the pack, with a hybrid style of the recent album-as-a-playlist trend, and an actual, full-length album. The project has some surprises as well, you’ll have to listen to find out. The Apple stream is below, you can also listen on Spotify and Tidal.
Goonew & JunkieMoney – Back to Back (Video)
New heat from Goonew and JunkieMoney. The drip never stops.
WopTalks – 06 Prices Video)
AVA’s WopTalks is unstoppable right now. His new video, for the Gucci-inspired “06 Prices” was shot by Zeal DMV (of course), and produced by Uncle Bari (who you’ll hear more from soon.)

Shug keeps the pressure on with his latest video, “Perc No Xan”, off of the Free Scripts project, directed by 4KQP. Check out “Jumpin” with Baby 9eno from last week as well.
Borleone – December (Video)
Young Borleone! One of our favorite’s from the Maryland side drops a surprise new video to cap off this Labor Day weekend. P.G.’s finest is up next, with one of his trademarked, two-minute-long bangers. “December”, shot by @mikeandnikess & @trdmrk.glbl, is short, smooth and two the point. Goonew has a cameo in the video. Expect more from Borleone soon. Free Flock!
Tokyo Crow – ‘Blade Brown’ (Stream)

Taygo – “Airplane Mode”
This sh*t is fire. Check out the new single from Uptown artist Taygo Foolio titled “Airplane Mode.” Definitely looking forward to more from him (including this video he shot in the Dominican Republic).
Super Nike Nando – “Why Am I Not Surprised?”
It took us a minute to figure out what was going on, but DMV peers dopeSMOOTHIES and Super Nike Nando have been having words on social media (as to why, we have no idea). In the midst of all that comes a new freestyle from Nando titled “Why Am I Not Surprised?,” which sees him taking aim on wax over Pusha T’s “Infrared.” You can check that out below…presumably, listeners can expect a response at some point.
Gordo Brega – “Money In The Grave” (Spanish Freestyle)
Uptown’s own Gordo Brega delivers some Spanish flair to Rick Ross and Drake’s collaboration via his new freestyle, below.
Silas – ‘1998’ (Stream)
The RattPack saga continues. Bobby Boy Records’ artist and Gaithersburg’s own Silas delivers his new project 1998, which sees 15 new tracks and appearances from Kajo, John Lindahl and — of course — bossman Logic. Enjoy 1998 and recent video drops in full below.
I created this project at my lowest not knowing where I would be or what would happen with my music in general I believed this was gonna be the last project I ever created. I was wrong.
Pusha T Feat. Kash Doll – “Sociopath”
It feels like it’s been ages since Pusha T laid waste to his adversaries (including a certain Toronto star) with DAYTONA and “The Story of Adidon.” Now, the Virginia emcee returns with a new track titled “Sociopath,” which features Kash Doll and sees production from — you guessed it — Kanye West. Check out the hard-hitting cut below.
GlockBoyKari – ‘F$O Glock 2’ (Stream)
Along with assistance from F$O Gunk, GlockBoyKari returns with his latest drop ‘F$O Glock 2,” hosted by DJDee. Stream below via Spinrilla.
