Lupe Fiasco – N.E.R.D. (UPDATE)

Lupe Fiasco goes in over J. Cole’s ‘Everybody Dies’ instrumental. UPDATE: Well…a lot has happened since this track was released, from the track being taken down over lyrics (and re-added), Lupe’s deciding to retire and fights with the Anti-Defamation League. You can check out what’s been happening here.

The fact that Lupe’s Muslim makes it hard for this to look like anything other than prejudice, but what we do know?

NBA YoungBoy Charged With Attempted Murder

From AllHipHop:

Baton Rouge rapper NBA YoungBoy’s budding career has been derailed, thanks to recent attempted murder charges.

The 17-year-old rapper, who has recently released tracks with artists like Boosie Badazz, Kevin Gates and 21 Savage, has been charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder.

NBA YoungBoy, born Kentrell Gaulden, was arrested last month at a show in Austin, Texas. On December 7, he was booked into the East Baton Rouge Juvenile Court, is currently being held on $200,000 bond.

This is not his first brush with the law.

The rapper also did a six-month stint in a juvenile detention center in Tallulah, Louisiana, where he wrote songs for his 2015 debut mixtape, “Life Before Fame.”

Even though NBA YoungBoy is under the age of 18, he can still be tried as an adult under Louisiana law.
