Cornell Jone$ – How To Rob A DMV N***a (50 Cent Remix)
Ever so often, a drastic change is needed in life. The DC Hip-Hop scene has had it’s share, from Wale basically dissing all of Baltimore to Fat Trel fighting at the 2011 DMV Awards and Shy Glizzy dissing Chief Keef and jumping to the front of the local scene overnight. These moments, although negative, brokered change that lead to forward movement for local Rap. Today, we have a potential addition to that list. DC Rapper Cornell Jone$ has taken aim at most of DC’s well-known rappers in a new freestyle. Some jabs are short and comical, and others are sinister and dig deep. Either way, this diss record could be that spark, that shake-up that this area needs to move forward. Or it could be another song pointing out that local artists take themselves too seriously. Either way, we think its worth checking out this new record; Cornell and My Mixtapez just premiered his remix to 50 Cent’s “How To Rob.”
