After taking a break from Rich Gang, Rich Homie Quan is back with a new mixtape titled If You Ever Think I Will Stop Goin’ In Ask RR, which seems to see the Atlanta artist handling the project’s duties solo (now including production).
Produced by Yung Gud and taken from his upcoming project COD2 (May 15). Below, he tells Billboard about the track’s meaning:
This track describes how heavy life feels at times… ‘World on My Shoulders’ is a song I wrote for my two sons to make them aware of the dangers of the world and remind them to protect themselves at all times, no matter what, and just sharing my truths with the world.
Future revisits Beast Mode for a visual ode to the lavish life. Shootrr directed “Where I Came From,” which juxtaposes the Atlanta rapper’s gritty past with his successful present.
Spitta celebrates 4/20 with another short release dedicated to slabs. Even More Saturday Night Car Tunes features Yo Gotti and is available for stream on Spotify (below) and for purchase on iTunes.

During a concert at Georgia Southern University yesterday, the Migos were taken of stage, questioned and then arrested by the Bullouch County Sheriff’s department. According to TMZ, Quavo and Offset were arrested for felony possession of Cocaine, Codeine, Oxycontin, misdemeanor possession of Marijuana, and carrying a gun on a school campus (also a felony.) It is clear from photos that Offset (and other members of the YRN crew) were also arrested, but we are uncertain about the charges. Migos debut LP, YRN Tha Album, is set for a June release. They also have the upcoming Yung Rich Nation Tour, with QC label-mate OG Maco. You can view photos and social media posts from their booking and initial court hearing below.

Kap G recruits TIP and David Banner for the remix to his protest track. The Fader premiered it, adding thoughts from all three artists. I’m not sure how well TI fit on this, but he had a solid verse. Banner’s quote was my favorite; “From the beginning, the relationship between police departments and communities of color has been a tumultuous one. For too long, some officers have abused their authority and have not upheld their commitment to protect and serve all members of the community.”
