Johnny Cinco – Trap Religious (Mixtape)
Johnny Cinco surprises us with a new mixtape after no promotion, no announcment, nothing. This tape, Trap Religious, is all simplistic, lowkey Trap records. Unlike the usual Cinco tapes, we don’t get to hear much singing (exceptions are “Ghetto “For A Little.”) We do get to hear some different flows, though, like the No Limit-esque “Shit We On” and the post-Migos flow “When I Grow U[.” Trap Religious also has a lot more features and producers on it. Of course, guys like Spiffy, WillAFool, Profet and Lucci appear. But we also hear from Peewee Longway, Shy Glizzy, Sauce Walka, Ca$h Out and producers Fresh Jones and BeatMonster. Anyways, I really enjoyed this project. Cinco is easily the favorite out of Atlanta Trap right now.

Juvenile – Mardi Gras 2

Juvenile sounds comfortable and confident on Mardi Gras 2. The new mixtape from the New Orleans legend has finally catapulted him into the 21st century. Juvie presents a great selection of songs featuring Zaytoven, Mannie Fresh, Birdman, and more. The only disappointment is that Mannie Fresh doesn’t contribute to the production at all. Enjoy
