Mark Milly – Now and Later (EP)

Lucky aka Mark Milly drops his first EP for the masses, and it’s definitely not a bad way to start at all. Produced entirely by New Jersey’s Probz. Press release, tracklisting and download link after the jump.

Baltimore, MD (Tuesday, July 27, 2010)- This is just not another EP being released. This is the first EP that is being released by Hip Hop artist Mark Milly. He first caught your attention at the beginning of the summer with the in your face mixtape “#FcukMarkMilly: The Brief-Tape”, but “Now and Later” is a more in depth look into the type of artist that Mark Milly is. It’s intimate body of work that just consists of 6 tracks. The entire project is produced by NJ’s own Probz. Mark Milly & Probz have worked together on previous records and realized they should just work on an entire project and thus “Now and Later” was born. What has turned into being a great journey for them both, has also turned into a very important peice for each of their careers.

Expect to hear some features from Mark Milly’s YHGM family, as the lead single “Smile in Ya Face” features the up & coming artist on their roster, Tragedy.

Mark Milly will also be performing LIVE in Baltimore July 30th and August 13th. To receive more details on these events and future events or appearances, please visit www.theincrediblecreation.com and please follow him @MarkMilly.

Download: Gangrene (Alchemist x Oh No) – Chain Swinging

From Nah Right:

Famed producer/emcee The Alchemist and left-coast rapper/beatsmith Oh No are collaborating as Gangrene to bring audiences their gritty opus Gutter Water this October on Decon Records. Over the course of three years and a myriad of emails, the two have built a project that celebrates their shared passion for dusty breaks and lurid wordplay as well as their distinctly different application of each.

Oh No and The Alchemist share production duties on Gutter Water, while trading verses over each others dense compositions. Both find themselves remarkably at ease amongst the threatening drums pounded out on endearing vintage equipment, flipping verses that run the gamut from literal to abstract, amounting to an incredible collection of head-nodders. Features include Raekwon, Guilty Simpson, Big Twins, Evidence, Roc C, MED, Twins Gambino, Planet Asia and Fashawn.

‘Chain Swinging’ is the first single from Gutter Water, on sale 9/12.
