Young Stebo – I Came Too Far To Lose (Mixtape)

Up-and-coming Atlanta rapper Young Stebo (not to be confused with any other Stebos) drops what I believe is his first mixtape, hosted by DJ Lil Keem. Fresh off a track on YDG’s debut tape, this tape is a strong introduction to a rapper who can do a healthy trade-off between more soulful Country-Rap, auto-tuned hits and more modern Trap. Production from the likes of YDG and Grade-A-Muzik (?), with features from Rich Homie Quan, Peewee Longway and YC. Standouts include tracks like “I Remember”, “What You Kno” “On It” and my old favorite “Otis Nixon”.

Young Thug – EWW (Tags)

So, we’re one step closer to a final/CDQ version of Young Thug’s legendary track “EWW”, produced by Southside. Thugger has given us (at least) two previews of the track before: in January, he played it at Atlanta’s radio station 107.9 and later, he let Mixtape Kitchen listen to the track.  Now, thanks to DJ Fly Guy, we have a tagged Soundcloud stream (this will appear on his New World Order mixtape with DJ Jay T).  According to DGB, Drake will appear on the final version.

Young Dro – Black Label (Mixtape)

Young Dro drops one of his two Polo-themed 420 mixtapes. Black Label, presented by HNHH, features appearances and production from T.I., Dun Deal, FKi, DJ Spinz, Zuse, Trae Tha Truth, Cash Out and more.  Enjoy.

Migos & Rich The Kid – Streets On Lock 3 (Mixtape)

I’m really tired of mixtapes with three or more DJs tagging up the whole thing…actually I’m tired of most DJ tags altogether. Their are four DJ’s hosting this Rich the Kid and Migos mixtape…oh well. Streets On Lock 3 less of an actual project like the Migos’ No Label 2 and more like a compilation, but its still worth checking for the hottest of what is bumping in Atlanta right now.

Lightshow – Yellow Tape & White Chalk 4 (Mixtape)

Lightshow_Yellow_Tape_White_Chalk_4-front-large

Lightshow releases the 4th installment of his Yellow Tape & White Chalk series, hosted by DJ Grady. Yellow Tape 4 sees Lightshow freestyling over street hits ‘OG Bobby Johnson’, ‘Danny Glover’, ‘We Made It’, ‘Lookin Ass’ and more. You should already know: when you see a Yellow Tape & White Chalk mixtape, that’s a sign that Lightshow is working on his next project. Until then, enjoy the mixtape below.

Ab-Soul – Tree Of Life

absoul

Ab-Soul gives us some new music tonight, produced by Curtiss King. I know Jon will be excited when he sees this post, and will probably listen to this track for about an hour straight [Jon’s note: You’re f***in’ right! …also, shout out to that Joey BADA$$ appearance].
