Still not 100% sold on Canadian duo Chromeo,
but their funky brand of disco dance music worked will with Toro Y Moi on “Come Alive”. …Although I can’t lie. I heard this last week and wasn’t feeling it. I think I only gave it a second chance because I knew Toro Y Moi was in the video. Toro‘s my dude. …video was nice though.
Chromeo’s has been getting better lately though. I feel like every since they were announced as part of the 2014 Coachella lineup, they’ve been pushing out crazy amounts of material to build up buzz for the show. …A lot of which has been pretty decent. ….ESPECIALLY the joint they did with Chuck Inglish (below)! OMG! That’s legitimately one of my favorite finds of the week.

The track was produced by Soulection’s very own IAMNOBODI, who was one of only two producers who created the beats for the project. Breathing Underwater will be available to stream and download via her Soundcloud on Feb 5th. This is her first release of 2014.
