B00 Radley (@b00Radley_) – Long Way Home EP

Thanks to the good folks at Paradise Rhythm, I’ve heard of Akron, Ohio-based producer B00 Radley before, but I didn’t know he has a long track record of music and production placements with groups like Main Attrakionz (and possibly some upcoming work with Chief Keef too.)  the Long Way Home EP is a good introduction to his style if you aren’t familiar.  The project is mostly ambient-sounding tracks that blend Trap sounds, various drum machine noises, progressions from multiple electronic genres and a healthy amount of reverb.  Here is a quick rundown of two tracks and how the whole tape plays out , a full review will be coming out later.  “Let Go”, the first track, is a Trappy track with a prominent saxophone sample and bongo drums that actually works quite well.

“Red Eyes” is more like a traditional trap beat, but with an electro-style build-up. B00 produced all tracks (except for the bonus track, a KRILLN remix of “Kush Mountain” and “The Race” which Swimful was involved with.)

Hoodrich Ent drops a new mixtape, hosted by Peewee Longway.  This tape has some great exclusives like “Don’t Panic”, “Too Dope” and “Turnt Up” from Longway and some older favorites too (a mixed version of “Sneakin & Geekin”, “Cut Her Off” by K. Camp, etc.)   Also, tracks from Jose Guapo, Johhny Cinco, Migos, Johhny May Cash, King L and Spenzo.  Enjoy
