Cloudeater – Hollow
The recently broken-up Atlanta band Cloudeater is releasing their last album with producer Prefuse 73 (also known as Scott Herren). The story goes that the alternative electronic producer liked some of Cloudeater’s music, picking out some songs he thought would be a good album. Cloudeater then made a whole album based off of the tracks picked by Prefuse 73 and gave the finished recordings to him for mixing and other additions to turn the songs into a finished product. That finished product is Purge, which comes out July 9th. The track “Hollow”, is a sample from the album, which you can stream below. Enjoy.

Stephanie Nicole – Voices (EP)
Check out the album stream (and purchase the album! It’s only 4 bucks) below.
Stephanie Nicole is a singer/songwriter who believes that music is therapy. She has performed everything from Vivaldi’s “Gloria” to Bob Marley’s “Get Up Stand Up”. Now Stephanie is ready to share her own music, which she hopes will be soothing to the souls and minds of all who hear it.
This year Stephanie has been working hard in the studio with composer/producer Classroom Craig, writing and recording original songs. The soulful music that has emerged from their sessions contains a positive message, and it is sure to exhilarate the subconscious of those who listen. A full-length LP entitled, “Soulutionary One” will be released later this year.
The EP starts out with the groovy, lounge vibe “Soulutionary One”. In it Stephanie tells us that we all have the power within us to make our lives better. “Our choices are changing the world.”
“Buddha in Aruba” brings light to the unfortunate social practice of shunning and stifling those who are perceived to be different.
“Just Love Her” is a pastoral about our amazing home and how we need to realize that we are all in this world together. Of the meaning behind the song Stephanie says, “Just love her and treat her right, before she is gone!”
No collection of music is complete without a love song. “Voices” is the ethereal ode to lovers everywhere who uplift, and change for good the ones they adore.
