UPDATE: Kelis – Jerk Ribs

Kelis_2

UPDATE #2: The single ‘Jerk Ribs’ is in fact the first single from her upcoming album — reportedly titled FOOD — which is executive produced by Dave Sitek (TV On The Radio) and is set to be released on Sitek’s Federal Prism imprint.

UPDATE: We thought the below song was called ‘Call On Me’, when the Dave Sitek-produced track is actually called ‘Jerk Ribs’.

Kelis returns from her apparent rave music bender to a more urban sound in her latest single. Not sure where it’s going, but this is definitely a good sign as far as an upcoming album.

SNDCLSH (Lupe Fiasco & Sky Gellatly) – Thieves

Ever the one to go against the grain musically (or dive into the Pop music genre head-first, depending on who you ask), Lupe Fiasco has teamed up with Sky Gellatly to create SNDCLSH. Below is their latest offering (they’ve actually been working together for a while, so I’m not sure what they’ve created in the past), which is said to be taken from the upcoming Don’t Drop The Flag EP.
