Kingpen Slim continues to record new music for his next project, but takes a break to jump on Rihanna’s single ‘Love Song’, adding some bars for the Beam Mix.
T.Rone Feat. Juicy J, Jim Jones, Fat Joe & Raheem DeVaughn – Hello Love (Remix)
Aaaaaand now it makes sense: I’ve been hearing the original version of this song get played on Urban radio stations, and I’ve been trying to figure out why; there’s nothing special about the song in particular and it felt like they were trying to shove the music down our throats (which is, of course, what radio stations do nowadays, so no surprise).
Then I see that this artist not only has a remix featuring the above artists, but he is also now signed to Birdman. Got-dammit. You can check out the remix below if you dig it…..I’m still not feeling this song.
Ronald Isley – Dinner And A Movie
I don’t think Ron Isley could lose a step if he tried. Here’s his brand new single ‘Dinner And A Movie’, out on iTunes now.
PREVIEW: @Masro – 2013 Instrumentals
Masro let loose a nice collection of intrumental snippets that will probably end up being used by any young gun smart enough to get a hand on it. I would expect plenty more from Masro before year’s end.
Black Milk – Computer Ugly Ugly/Why Worry
Check this out: Black Milk and illustrator Pen Taylor are collaborating on an instrumental/art series called Fuzz Freqs & Colors. The first volume of that series is called Synth Or Soul, which drops April 20th, and the below double blend is the first offering from that project.
IF you dig it (which you should), you can preorder Synth Or Soul here (the link also shows the tracklisting, breakdown of the collaboration, etc.). The urban art culture is so active right now.
Havoc Feat. Slum Village – Cash Flow
Not sure why this won’t appear on Havoc’s upcoming 13 (or will it be a bonus track perhaps?), but it’s definitely a dope collaboration that will hold us down until the album drops. Check it out below and support the record if you like it.

Before it hits DatPiff.com tomorrow, Peter Rosenberg gives us a preview with the Harry Fraud-produced opening number titled, “Day In The Life” with Joey Bada$$ from the Hot 97 personality’s upcoming New York Renaissance mixtape.
Shy Glizzy In The Studio With Timbaland
You may remember us posting something of Shy Glizzy working with Timbaland last week. So tonight while Shy Glizzy was in NYC he was in the studio with legendary producer Timbaland. Can’t wait to hear the final product.
Sam Smith – The Lonely Hour (Acoustic)
Sam Smith is turning me into a bigger fan of an artist’s acoustic work than I am of the studio cuts. Check out his latest for the new track ‘The Lonely Hour’.
Fall Out Boy Feat. 2 Chainz – My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up) (Remix)
Being that he was in the visual, it was only right that 2 Chainz hopped on the remix (even if it really makes no sense musically). Fall Out Boy’s Save Rock And Roll drops April 16th.
Slum Village – Forever
Ah, the goodness that is Slum Village (even though it’s more like T3 and the Slum Village affiliates nowadays). Evolution is still coming.
Rich Boy Feat. Doe B, Playboi Lo & Smash – Pimp On
It didn’t even occur to me that it’s been 5-6 years since we heard Rich Boy’s debut album. With that said, here’s the latest offering from what will finally be his follow-up project Break The Pot.
Snoop Lion Feat. Miley Cyrus – Ashtrays & Heartbreaks
Wow….well, it could be worse. From Reincarnated. Produced by Major Lazer, Ariel Rechtshaid & Dre Skull.
Wale (@Wale) – Sight Of The Sun
As Wale prepares for his third album, he brings back #WaleWednesdays and releases a new freestyle over Fun’s record. Wale went in on this joint. The Gifted drops on June 25th.
Quez (@eL_QuEzzyO) x Black Cobain (@blackcobain) – No Patience
Quez from Travis Porter links with his homie Black Cobain for a record off his new mixtape, Black Boe Knows, which dropped yesterday.
Kendrick Lamar Feat. Young Jeezy – Westside, Right On Time (Urban Noize Remix)
Urban Noize tries their hand at a song that was premiered during #TDEAppreciationWeek last year….and they made the song a lot better for me.
