JukeBoxx (@JukeBoxxMusic) – The Drive (The Mixtape)

Something fresh for us to check out:

If Labrinth & Bruno Mars had four children and the apple’s didn’t fall too far from their musical tree you’d have JukeBoxx.

The British guy group made up of Adam, Daecolm, Jazz & Xorael have a mutual love for authentic vocals, rap and harmonies, the band’s ambition is to bring experimental soul into today’s ever-changing music era.

Over the past year and a half the London based group have been creating their 1st album with producers and writers such as MNEK (Rizzle Kicks/ The Saturdays), Tracklacers (P!nk / JLS), Phrased Differently (Tinie Tempah), Rupert Christie (Rebecca Ferguson), Nick Collar (Sugababes), Tre-Jean Marie (Smiler / Professor Green) The Lonesharks (Lawson) and many more.

Rome Fortune (@RomeFortune) – Cocaine Present ft. Trinidad Jame$ (@TrinidadJamesGG)

ATL’s Rome Fortune gets recent blog favorite Trinidad Jame$ for this odd, jazzy single. I’ve never head Rome Fortune until now and I wasn’t too big on what I heard from Jame$’ first tape but this song is definitely something new, strange and nice to listen to. Ceej from Two-9 did the beat, the song is from an upcoming collaboration between him and Rome, which should definitely be good. Props to Ashley O.
