Graffiti New York 80’s Exhibition Paris

Photography: Mathieu Vilasco for Highsnobiety
A bit left field, but graffiti is graffiti. R.I.P. to Basquiat. From High Snobiety (where you can check out plenty more pictures):
Graffiti New York 80’s is up and running at Paris’ Galerie Jerome de Noirnont. The show features a who’s who of famed 80’s bombers: A-ONE, Jean-Michel BASQUIAT, BLADE, Bill BLAST, CRASH, DONDI WHITE, FAB 5 FREDDY, FUTURA 2000, Keith HARING, RAMMELLZEE, and TOXIC. As Curated puts it, “the show is all about the pioneering spirit of New York art during the decade.” We’ve been told that the above piece by Futura and Crash is going for 60,000 Euros.
On view through July 20, 2011 at Galerie Jerome de Noirnont (36-38 Avenue Matignon, Paris).
