Mayweather and Alvarez’s camps have been actively working to set this match up since the beginning of the month, and now it’s officially set to go down September 14th, according to Money’s Twitter account.
According to the Washington Post:
A Loudoun County sheriff’s deputy shot and killed a woman who came at him with a knife at a busy Costco in Sterling on Wednesday afternoon, authorities said, causing confused and frightened shoppers and employees to duck behind cash registers and rush out of the store.
Two deputies went to the store to check a report of a disorderly person and used a Taser to try to subdue the woman, Loudoun Sheriff Michael Chapman said. But the woman kept advancing, so one of the deputies fired at her and killed her, the sheriff said. The second deputy was wounded, possibly when a bullet ricocheted and hit his leg. He is expected to recover.

According to CNN , a woman flushed her newborn baby down the toilet…it was later saved by some doctors and the mother won’t face any charges. I hope they find her some help.

Nevertheless it seems like people are taking to this depiction as Yeezus Christ. Do you think there is a chance in hell that this is real?

Sean “Diddy” Combs is trying to unload two of his swanky properties at deep discounts. The rap mogul has cut the price on his Manhattan apartment at the Park Imperial by $600,000, reports The Post’s Jennifer Gould Keil, and slashed the “ask” for his Alpine, NJ, estate by $3.6 million. His 66th floor, West 56th Street apartment is now asking $7.99 million — down from its $8.5 million price tag last year. At 2,292 square feet, the home includes a piano room and wet bar, comes with a marble foyer and has been designed for entertaining, the listing says. Meanwhile, Combs is asking $9.99 million for his Alpine estate, which he tried to sell for $13.5 million in 2006. The manor sits on a hill over three acres. It has a putting green, tennis court and swimming pool, plus seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms and an aquarium. “Diddy’s spending more time at his $30 million mansion in Miami, on Star Island. It makes sense for tax reasons,” a source concluded.

The family of one of the men — Michael Adebolajo — who committed the senseless act of brutally murdering a soldier has spoken out against the violence:
“We wish to share with others our horror at the senseless killing of Lee Rigby and express our profound shame and distress that this has brought on our family.
“We send our heartfelt condolence to Lee Rigby’s family and loved ones.”
”We wish to state openly that we believe that there is no place for violence in the name of religion or politics.
“We believe all right thinking members of society share this view wherever they were born and whatever their religion and political beliefs.
“We wholeheartedly condemn all those who engage in acts of terror and fully reject any suggestion by them that religion or politics can justify this kind of violence.
“We unreservedly put out faith in the rule of law and with others fully expect that all the perpetrators will be brought to justice under the law of the land.
“And we pray for Lee Rigby’s soul to rest in peace, for the Lord to comfort his parents and loved ones and provide all of us affected the strength and fortitude to cope with this tragedy.”

Andre “3000” Benjamin’s mother Sharon Benjamin-Hodo has passed away, a representative for the musician and actor confirms to Billboard.
Benjamin-Hodo was the founder and guiding force of The Starlight Camp for underprivileged children, which she ran out of the New Morning Light Missionary Baptist Church in Conley, GA — the church of her husband, Pastor Robert Hodo.
According to unconfirmed reports, she was found dead in her Atlanta home on what was her son’s 38th birthday.
In lieu of flowers, continued support of The Starlight Camp is appreciated by the family, Benjamin’s spokesperson notes.

CORRECTION UPDATE: According to Billboard, Daft Punk holds the number one spot with 339K and French Montana gets a spot increase to number 4 with 56K.

First off, we must give a slow hand clap to Daft Punk, whose Random Access Memories kicked major ass, selling about 325K and locking in the number one spot on the Billboard chart.
Secondly, we must shake our heads at French Montana’s first week, for the #6 charting Excuse My French (review here) couldn’t even break 50,000 units. To put it into perspective, Hootie & The Blowfish singer Darius Rucker beat him out by over 25,000 units (earning the #2 spot).
We’ll see how French’s album progresses in the coming weeks.
Jean Touitou of A.P.C. Paris has given us another look at Kanye West‘s Yeezus album artwork in the form of an ad featuring the album’s disc in packaging that doesn’t have the melting gold seen in previous Yeezus album packaging images that surfaced the net.
The new ad features the Yeezus album disc with nothing but copyright text on it in an empty jewel case…or what appears to be an empty jewel case covered with red tape with the album’s title. The ad also shows the June 18th release date, and says there will be no pre orders: please purchase. You can check out the full ad below.

Tyler, the Creator says he was offered an additional feature on his Wolf single “IFHY” from Kanye West.
However, according to his answer via Formspring, he turned down Ye’s offer and just kept the vocals from Pharrell.
Tyler said: “cause it was mine. he wanted to be on IFHY too! but i was like, nah hahaha. ye is soo awesome, i talk to him almost everyday it seems like. its cool to have someone you can level with about art and everything else.”
He also confirmed that he will not be appearing on Kanye’s upcoming album Yeezus.
UPDATE: Continuing with the whole Keyshawn thing, it’s being reported that KJ had that lil’ nigga runnin’ in his house scared once the former football player came to his house to confront him:
Keyshawn chased after Bieber in his Prius — and tried to confront the singer at Bieber’s house — but JB ran and hid inside of his home when Key pulled up.
MZ spoke with Keyshawn’s agent Jerome Stanley who tells us … Keyshawn is “very, very, very livid” with Justin for blazing through their Calabasas community in his Ferrari on Monday … right where Keyshawn was walking with his children.
“Keyshawn is taking the situation very seriously,” Stanley says … “He wants Justin to slow down and be a responsible neighbor.”
We asked Stanley if Keyshawn plans to aid in the investigation — to which he replied, “Keyshawn is a law-abiding citizen and he’ll do whatever it takes to help the authorities.”
So that means the whole Tyler, The Creator alibi is off the table?

This kid is definitely earning his gangsta stripes, ain’t he? Folks have already responded — according to Perez HIlton — claiming that Tyler, The Creator was actually the one behind the wheel. From TMZ:
Justin Bieber is under police investigation for ANOTHER reckless driving incident — allegedly driving his Ferrari at breakneck speeds in his gated community.
The incident occurred at around 8 PM Monday night. L.A. County Sheriff spokesman Steve Whitmore tells TMZ … cops received 2 separate calls in different locations in the Calabasas community. Sources say one of the callers was Keyshawn Johnson.
Whitmore says the callers reported Bieber was driving at a “startling high rate of speed.” At least one child was playing in the area where Bieber was allegedly driving.
We’re told cops responded but Bieber refused to speak with them.
Bieber has had a history of alleged reckless driving. You’ll recall prosecutors are currently reviewing a case where Bieber allegedly drove recklessly and then spit on a neighbor who confronted him. The neighbor says Bieber also threatened to kill him.
As for Sunday’s case … Whitmore says the case will be presented to the L.A. County District Attorney.
I can’t lie, I forgot all about Lil’ Eazy myself….
Lil Eazy tells TMZ he will definitely be there when hologram Eazy-E hits the stage at the Rock the Bells festival on September 7 — because that would have been his father’s 50th birthday.
LE says, “I am happy my father gets to get honored … it’s exciting” — and he’s going to keep it rolling after the concert by putting together an over-the-top afterparty.
As for whether Lil E will be on stage with BT&H and Holo Eazy-E — nothing’s been announced yet … but they’ve collaborated several times … including the 2008 “This Ain’t a Game” video.

I’m just working on my Brick Squad group album which will drop this summer. It’ll be me, PeeWee Longway, Young Thug, Dolph and of course Chief Keef. I even got songs with Waka on there. I’m just gonna drop a collection of all the best songs we’ve been making. I dropped a mixtape for every artist on my label, so now I feel like it’s just time to put our album together and show everybody the chemistry we got together.Speaking of Waka, what’s going on with you guys right now?
There was more of a miscommunication and things got misconstrued. But we got too much of a good thing. Whatever we got to work out, we always work it out.

In the 77th minute of a regular-season Major League Soccer match between the Los Angeles Galaxy and the Seattle Sounders on Sunday evening, Robbie Rogers made history.
The 26-year-old midfielder entered the game as a substitute for the Galaxy, becoming the first active openly gay male athlete to compete in a U.S. professional team sport.
Rogers came out in February in an emotional note on his personal website. In that same post, he also announced his decision to “step away” from the game. With a smile on his face and the No. 14 on his back, he stepped back on to the field on Sunday evening. The crowd at the Home Depot Center welcomed him with a loud cheer.

Chauncey Black, one of the founding members of the group Blackstreet, does not like the way Teddy Riley works it … so he’s taking him to court.
Black claims in a new lawsuit he owns the name, but Teddy’s been using it illegally. It’s actually a bit more complicated. Black says originally Teddy owned the name but his trademark expired and Black then snapped it up.
Black claims Riley has flagrantly violated his rights by performing with another band and passing themselves off as Blackstreet.
As for why they’re not performing together, Black claims he can’t work with Riley because of his “uncooperation.”
A rep for Riley tells TMZ, “At this time we have no comment on ANY of the ridiculous and frivolous claims APPARENTLY being made by Chauncey Andre Hannibal aka’Black.'”
Chris Brown was recently involved in a recent minor car collision (minor enough that we didn’t care to post about it) that was probably more known for the fact that Karrueche Tran was in Brown’s vehicle at the time. Anyway, Chris Breezy might have been his usual asshole self during the incident, which may put him back in prison over a parole violation:
What could have been a simple fender bender earlier this week is now a full-blown hit-and-run investigation … after Chris Brown allegedly refused to give the driver he rear-ended his driver’s license #. We’re told he also gave the woman incorrect insurance info.
What’s more … we’re now told Chris copped an attitude when the woman pressed him for his ID, before refusing to ante up his DL.
If you don’t know, Chief Keef was recently popped for smoking weed in a hotel. Below is Keef’s account of what happened (the fact that they could get him to say that much is quite amazing, really)….above is the security snitch guard’s take. From TMZ:
TMZ broke the story … Keef was arrested in ATL for disorderly conduct after a security guard at Le Meridien Atlanta Perimeter Hotel called 911 this week … claiming Keef was “rolling marijuana” inside his hotel room with two “black male” friends (one of whom was fellow rapper Tray Savage).
Here’s Chief’s account of the situation:
“So me and my homie Tray Savage was in the hotel room chillin’ when some fat ass security guard started knocking on the door talking about he needed to fix a water leak.”
“So his ass walked in and started looking around at us and immediately gave me the racist look then started talking sh*t to me.”
“I told him, ‘I thought you wanted to fix a water leak?’ Which he obviously lied ’cause there was no water leaking.”
“Then he immediately started talking sh*t to us. He told me that he was going to call the police on me so I called him a bitch.”
“He kept saying how the police about to be on their way to lock me up so I blew smoke in his face and pulled out 30 racks (white person translation: $30,000) and said I got the bond money — there is more where this come from.”
Keef says he felt the security guard was “racist from the moment he walked in the room. The way he looked at us was a racist look.”
Jessica Brooks, mother to the beloved late music mogul Chris Lighty penned this open letter:
On August 30, 2012 Darrell “Chris” Lighty was killed. Within 24 hours it was declared a suicide and the case was closed. DNA and gun testing to date are but two of many items that should be done to confirm the manner of death. Dr. Baden, who has been retained to perform a second autopsy has been hampered in his efforts as the evidence requested from the Bronx DA’s office has not after nine months been given to him so that the autopsy can be done. What really happened to Chris? Will his children and family get justice? We implore the public for their support and those in his industry to speak out so that the questions that remain unanswered can be resolved. We implore the Bronx DA’s office to officially reopen this case so that it can be investigated. If it were your loved one who died would you not want answers? So does the Lighty Family. Please help us.
