NOTICE - The Kanye West album release events in Baltimore have been cancelled tonight.
— Baltimore Police (@BaltimorePolice) May 26, 2013
Well….that was pretty anti-climatic for folks in the area, wasn’t it?
Apparently, the Baltimore Police Department have caught wind of the planning screening for Kanye West’s ‘New Slaves’ projection and made sure that it wasn’t going to happen before it could even take place. This is not a far cry from the shut down that happened in Houston.
TQ says while Lil Wayne and Birdman did kiss regularly, they were unconcerned with any negative stigma.
Former Cash Money Records singer TQ recently spoke on the controversial years-old photo of Birdman and Lil Wayne kissing.
“I never understood it,” admitted TQ in an interview with KFYB of UGS Radio. “I asked for an explanation and they gave me an explanation and as a man as part of my clique had to respect the explanation.”
“People don’t understand them dudes did that shit every day,” continued the singer, who was signed to Cash Money from 2002-2004. “They consider themselves Father and Son.”
TQ said he warned Birdman and Weezy of the stigma associated with the two kissing, but they weren’t concerned. “We constantly use to get into that and I told them when we in public and cameras were under they are not gonna understand that shit and them niggaz didn’t care. It was constantly happening every day!”
The singer said that the two were undeterred, but remained adamant that the rappers were not homosexual. “We had mad conversations about that. That was a constant struggle and they never gave a fuck about my opinion about it. I have never seen homosexual tendencies from them cats! I think it’s weird, but I don’t think there was no homosexual shit involved!”
I’m not sure where this started, but the actress took some shots at the pop princess on Twitter earlier. The tweets were later deleted by Amanda, but you can still check out the exchange below.

Stalley took it back home to Massillon, Ohio for his visual to the very dope ‘Swangin‘ featuring Scarface. It looks like the community held him down for the shoot, save for the inability to do any scenes at his old alma mater — Washington High — due to his lyrical content. City superintendent Rik Goodright did address the matter as well:
“As part of the Massillon community, the district appreciates that Kyle Myricks (Stalley) continues to show Massillon pride through his work and frequent visits to his hometown. However, because of the nature of some of his lyrics, we feel it is in our best interest to decline the use of our facilities.”
Ah well…you can check out the pics below. Visual coming soon.
Jigga’s Roc Nation Sports signed Smith earlier this week and a photo of Smith with Jay-Z was posted to Instagram prior to the announcement. The problem is … league rules mandate that only NFLPA-certified agents may be involved in the recruitment of clients.
Also complicating matters … Smith’s adviser, John Thornton, was quoted as saying he was in meetings with Smith and Jay-Z, but later said he was misquoted.
It’s unclear what the punishment would be if the NFL determines Jay-Z acted improperly.

Decensae White was the leading scorer on San Francisco State University’s basketball team, the former roommate of NFL player Michael Crabtree at Texas Tech University, and the star of a viral video that eventually made it’s way onto SportsCenter. The 25-year-old Pacifica, California native is now a murder suspect as well.
NBC Bay Area is reporting that White has been extradited from San Mateo County to Fulton County, Georgia to face charges related to the murder of rapper Lil Phat (real name Melvin Vernell III).
Phat was killed in Sandy Springs, Georgia on June 7, 2012. Fulton County District Attorney Paul Houston called Phat’s killing “an assassination.”
White is one of five individuals who have been indicted on various charges including felony murder, aggravated assault, criminal participation in gang activity, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. One of the other suspects is an alleged member of the Russian mafia named Mani Chulayev.
According to Fulton County officials, White, Chulayev, DeAndre Washington, Gary Bradford, and Maurice Conner hired hit men to kill Phat over drug related issues.
White is believed to have moved to Georgia in 2009. He apparently was seeking to start a rap career in Atlanta.
White later returned to the Bay Area and enrolled at SFSU where he started on the school’s basketball team for the entire 2012-2013 season. He also briefly attended Texas Tech and Santa Clara University.
“We are in total shock right now,” said Decensae’s father David White. “He is the most non-violent person I’ve ever known in my life. This is beyond anyone’s comprehension.”
White was booked on May 17 and will appear in a Fulton County court on May 31.
When D’aja Robinson’s life was taken the community fueled outrage. The 14-year-old Queens native was on her way home from a sweet sixteen party when a gunman shot nine .40-caliber bullets into the side of a city bus. Robinson was rushed to a nearby hospital but never made it due to injuries sustained.
D’aja Robinson’s funeral took place on Friday and fellow Queens native Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson gave support to the victim’s family.
50 payed for Friday’s funeral and released the statement below on Facebook regarding it.
“People always try and paint negative images about me I’m the most genuine down to earth person and I didn’t forget where I came from I came through for baby girl by providing a horse and carriage for her. She was pretty, innocent and didnt deserve to die like that R.I.P D’Asia Robinson.”
An estimated 2,500 mourners, including hundreds of teenagers, came out in support of Robinson and her family.
First off, we heard that American Idol doesn’t want any of this season’s judges to return (not counting Randy Jackson, who is finally retiring from that shit anyway). From HHN247:
None of the four judges on the singing competition will be asked to return next season, an individual with knowledge of Fox’s plans told The Wrap. Longtime producer Nigel Lythgoe is expected to get the boot. And despite reports to the contrary, Fox isn’t even considering bringing former judge Jennifer Lopez back as a lifesaver for next season.
“All four are gone…they feel they’ve lost their core audience and they want it back.”
Now, the below news is coming from the same place that reported with certainty that Beyonce was pregnant, so take the news with caution. From E! News:
American Idol has nailed down its first alum turned judge: Jennifer Hudson.
Multiple sources confirm exclusively to E! News that the Oscar-winning singer has signed a deal to sit at the judges’ table this fall for season 13. The other two spots are also intended for former Idol contestants: Kelly Clarkson and either Adam Lambert or Clay Aiken.
We’re told that Clarkson is also close to signing on. No word yet on whether Lambert or Aiken will fill the final spot, but producers are expected to keep the panel to three members.

Tip was recently in the studio (or somewhere) with Chicago’s L.E.P. Bogus Boys…..who interestingly enough would be a dope addition to the Hustle Gang….
Iggy Azalea has criticized Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded album for being “very rigid”.
The Australian rapper applauded Minaj for including both rap and pop songs on the LP, but believes it wasn’t “dynamic” enough.
“She definitely had both sides but I think hers was – I don’t wanna be mean to her because I’m not being mean – but I don’t think that it was dynamic,” she told Digital Spy.
“I could see both sides and I’m not saying it has to be that way, but it was very rigid in the way that it flipped between the two [sounds]. I like to make the music flow like a river – I’m like, ‘You have to listen to the album from track one to ten!'”
The upcoming collaborative project between emcee Action Bronson and producer Harry Fraud is officially for next month. This will definitely be dope product to look out for.
UPDATE: ….and you knew we were going to revisit this once the visual dropped. And she is definitely getting slammed for it (Google that yourself)…..what I don’t understand is this: you telling me that Bear Grylls can sip on his own piss but Ke$ha can’t?
****************************************
…and we’ll get to watch it all happen! Ke$ha has a documentary coming soon on MTV….spotted on NZ Herald:
Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life is scheduled to premiere in the US on MTV in April and will give an insight into the eccentric singer’s habits.
The 25-year-old says viewers can expect some strange things from the series, which was filmed by her journalist brother Lagan Sebert.
“It’s my brother and his weird friend following me around for the past two-and-a-half years. We didn’t know what we were doing per se, but it’s my little brother and he’s my best friend. He’s got me wasted at 6am … He got all the things you would want to see and all the things you wouldn’t really want to see – making out with dudes, drinking my own pee, jumping out of a building, jumping out of aeroplanes, swimming with sharks …” she told BBC Radio 1.
“I was told drinking my own pee was good, I was trying to be healthy … Somebody tried to take my pee away from me and I said, ‘That is mine!’ So I snatched it up and took a chug and it was really gross so I don’t do it anymore.”
Something tells me that the folks who have been going at her neck about her skin being lightened in recent artwork now have some additional ammo. Anyways, SongVersation drops June 25th. You can preorder the album here.
2 Chainz’ debut album Based on a T.R.U. Story hit over 600k this past week, and he is now ready to serve his sophomore album to the fans. Moments ago, 2 Chainz announced that his anticipated second album will hit stores on September 10th and as a result, he won’t be doing guest features.
