Fellow GBE member Lil Reese was edited out of Chief Keef’s latest video “Kobe”. If you check previous footage from the video shoot, Reese is very present. The final product has no footage of the Def Jam rapper in it at all, except for a few blurry background shots. Hi-Def stated in a conversation with Reese on twitter that he was ordered by Interscope Records (Chief Keef’s label) to take him out of the video.  That tweet has since been deleted but check out whats left of Hi-Def’s conversation with Lil Reese below. Hi-Def and Interscope have been criticized for the move but the bottom line is if you beat the shit out of girls (even if you apologize) you have more things to worry about then a cameo in your boy’s video.

Young Dro (@DroPolo) Loses In Maserati Lawsuit

Remember when he was a dope emcee? I sure hope he goes back to the essence with any new projects in the future. Anyway, from TMZ:

As TMZ first reported, Dro was sued earlier this year in and Atlanta court after he defaulted on payments for his 2007 Maserati Quattroporte Sport. The leasing company behind the suit repo’d the car and claimed the rapper still owed them $61,220.37.

A default judgment was entered at the end of October in the company’s favor because Dro dropped the ball and failed to respond to the suit after he was served.

The rapper was ordered to cough up the full amount plus attorney’s fees. Grand total = $67,613.12.

Justin Bieber has apparently broken up with that hot piece of ass (sike naw) Selena Gomez. From E! News:

Cee-Lo (@CeeLoGreen) Reportedly Involved In Physical Altercation With TWO Women

Add one more Cee-Lo Green’s stories of handling women like a pimp. This one apparently happened in July 2011 in Miami Beach…from TMZ:

According to law enforcement … the women told cops they met Cee Lo at a nightclub and were invited back to party in the singer’s hotel room. One of the women began to argue with Cee Lo and according to the police report Cee Lo asked them both to leave. Cee Lo and a witness told cops both women were highly intoxicated.

According to the report, Cee Lo began escorting one of the women out of the room by placing his hands on her shoulders. One of the women then called him a “fat motherf**ker,” to which he responded, “You need to leave, bitch.”

According to the police report, the parties took the argument outside — Cee Lo says the woman began to pummel him with punches and slaps to his face and they began fighting. According to witnesses the other woman jumped Cee Lo from behind and started striking him in the head.

Police were called and determined it was mutual combat and they could not determine who started it so no one was arrested.

The story seems to be the same anywhere, two camps of black people, both are in music, beefing with each other….and the second one group enters the hometown of another group, it turns into a ‘When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong’ episode.

During an ASAP Rocky, Danny Brown and ScHoolboy Q show at the Fillmore in Florida, fans and members of Purrp’s Raider Klan kept insulting the artists. Nonetheless, the show went on without incident; following the show, 30 members of the Raider Klan reportedly appeared outside ASAP Mob‘s tour bus, setting off a fight. Someone shot a gun (in the air, according to Schoolboy Q), and Spaceghost Purrp ended up being arrested.

Rappers Rob Maryland Studio….After Recording a Song There

So you mean to tell me that these niggers (yes, NIGGERS) recorded a song in a studio only to come right back and rob them? Were they wearing masks during the recording? Maybe they did this because they knew the song would now gain attention…..as evidence. Laurel police are looking for a pair of rappers who allegedly robbed a recording studio after a session.

About 1 a.m. Thursday, two men dropped by Copy Catz to lay down “Larry Hoover” – dedicated to famous Chicago gangster King Larry.

When the rap was wrapped, the rappers left the studio and walked out of the building while everybody else got ready to leave, but the rappers quickly returned – with guns. They ordered everyone to sit on the sofa and started demanding valuables.

“Our priority is to make a safe environment for artists,” said Copy Catz General Manager Carlos Garcia, who was not at the studio at the time. “That’s our No. 1 priority, and we didn’t do it this time and we just have to make sure protocols are followed. Staff that can’t follow protocols can’t be staff anymore.”

You know, I’m kind of surprised that Devin The Dude hasn’t made a movie much earlier, as it would probably be the most authentic stoner movie ever made. The film, titled Highway, also stars Lil’ Duval (and from the looks of the artwork, Keith David) and is about weed smokers looking for the ultimate high. The film and soundtrack (new and unreleased music from Devin as well as guest appearances from 2 Chainz, UGK, Smoke DZA, Curren$y, David Banner, The Coughee Brothaz, Asher Roth and more) both drop November 13th.

Now that I think of it, I do believe that this film was in fact filmed a while ago.

Skyfall Breaks Box Office Record

Skyfall, the 23rd entry in the Bond series, has already become a commercial and critical success, breaking the UK seven-day box-office record having made £37.2m in the UK from 587 screens, surpassing the previous record of £35.7m taken by Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 in July of last year.

The film, which is set to become the highest-grossing film in the series, has already made $287m (£180m) in it’s first 10 days globally, a number even more astounding when you consider that it hasn’t opened in the US yet, where it will be released on 9 November. It’s current global takings place it close to halfway of the $594m worldwide total gross made from 2006’s Casino Royale, Daniel Craig’s first foray as Bond, which before Skyfall had the highest gross in the series.

In a statement, producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli said “We are very grateful to the Bond fans and all UK cinema audiences for making Skyfall the biggest opening week ever during our 50th anniversary year.”
