FX Orders 90 Episode of Charlie Sheen's (@charliesheen) Anger Management

Charlie Sheen will be hanging around at FX for a while: As widely expected, sitcom “Anger Management” has officially been given 90-episode back order.

FX’s John Landgraf had said at the recent Television Critics Association panel that the show was on target to receive the pickup. Creator Bruce Helford has already been in the writer’s room for months working on the additional installments.

The order was predicated on the show hitting a certain ratings threshold for eight of the first 10 episodes. Realizing the first two episodes would get a big number based on the curiosity factor of Sheen returning to primetime, FX insisted that only episodes three through 10 would be part of the ratings calculation.

Although FX never released the threshold number, the show has exceeded many expectations and averaged 4.5 million viewers overall and 2.5 million in the 18-49 demo.

For viagra canada its June 28 premiere, “Anger Management” garnered a whopping 5.4 million viewers — setting a record as the most-watched scripted sitcom in cable history.

“We set a very high ratings bar that included some additional hurdles and the series met and exceed those metrics,” said FX Networks exec VP Chuck Saftler. “I have no doubt that the producers and cast will be able to pull off the Herculean task of producing 90 episodes over the next two years.”

Sheen, who plays a therapist trying to come to grip with his own issues as well, co-stars with Selma Blair, Daniela Bobadilla and Barry Corbin in the show.

Tulisa (@officialtulisa) Recruits Tinie Tempah (@tinietempah) For X-Factor

From The Sun:

TULISA has won the battle to have Tinie Tempah with her for the judges’ houses round, The Sun can reveal.

She was vying with Nicole Scherzinger to get the rapper, 23, on her side.

But Tinie will now head to Tulisa’s pad in Las Vegas to help judge the girls.

Nicole will have R&B star Ne-Yo with her in Dubai to mentor the boys.

Louis will work with Sharon Osbourne and Gary Barlow is hoping to have Robbie Williams for the round — set to be filmed in the next few weeks.

Last night a source said: “Tulisa is thrilled Tinie is coming with her at last.”

Tulisa also confessed she “hates” the houses round. She said: “You’ve got to sit down and say ‘no’ to people. It’s just you on your own breaking their dream and that is just the bit that I dread so much.”

Game (@TheGame) Renames Next Album

After going through two titles, (Soundtrack To Chaos and F.I.V.E.) Game is now naming his fifth album, Jesus Piece. Game sits down with VIBE and tells them why he renamed his album:

“Trey Songz came with his album Chapter V, and of course 50 had 5 (Murder by Numbers), I just felt like I should jump off that wagon. So I went back into the studio and started doing songs that leaned more towards the title. I think people gon’ appreciate the concept once they hear the music.

I’m a Christian but I’m not ‘holier than thou’. Jesus Piece gives me an opportunity to speak about situations that people like me who love God but are still street and still wanna remain themselves without going the Pastor Mase route. It gives the opportunity to know that it’s somebody out there that feels them.

You can still have swag and be a Christian, you ain’t gotta wear a suit to church, you ain’t gotta take a bath in Holy water. You can still have your Ciroc in the club, it’s just a faith thing and making sure you try to do right. I’m still a father, I still smoke, I still rep Compton, I still might shoot dice or have a fight if I have to defend myself

I wanted this album to supersede what The Documentary did lyrically. Every time someone walks into the studio and listens—from Wayne, to Ross to Khaled—everybody says ‘that’s the Hurricane.’ That makes me feel like I’m the old Game again. I’m just happy because I was able to find that creative space. I’m having fun.”

@Coldplay, @Rihanna Named For Paralympic Games Closing Ceremony

Spotted at the Daily Star:

The Bajan babe will perform a couple of her own songs before joining Coldplay on stage for their hit duet Prince Of China.

I’m told the spectacle on Sunday, September 9, will focus on the elements: earth, wind, water, fire and ice.

And unlike the Olympics Closing Ceremony the show will be dominated by just a few major acts and they won’t all be British.

Fazer (@IamFazer) To Create New Talent Show

So, Fazer is set to be in competition of sorts (not really) with Tulisa’s ‘X-Factor’ by creating his own talent show, though with a better premise for our youth. From MTV:

According to The Mirror, the rapper will host a new show that aims to create an “urban orchestra” from the UK’s underprivileged youth.

He told the paper: “I’ll be looking for really talented players that are underprivileged. From violas, to violins… all the strings, percussion, brass, drums, everything like that.

“I’ll put together people that wouldn’t necessarily get the opportunity to perform in a prestigious place, or even with a full orchestra, and create an urban orchestra which will really set me up for my tour next year.”
