Kanye West Gets A Custom Watch With His Face On It

From Tiret. You can read more about it here.
“The watch dial features two Swiss quartz chronograph movements. So you have two times, two chronographs, etc… The real allure is in all the jewel work. Tiret claims it took them over five months to create the dial. The dial itself is in gold toned mother-of-pearl, with a combo of white, yellow, brown, and black diamonds. The bezel is lined with very large diamonds as well. The watch is said to have a total of about 8 carats of stones. Kayne’s face has been immortalized on the dial – complete with sunglasses. Retail price for this is said to be about $180,000, and is custom made specially for each client”

Dice Raw Speaks On Car Accident

Damn! Spotted on Rap Radar:
“It happened so fast – I was turning and this silly bitch decided she couldn’t wait two seconds and swerved around someone that was stopped and blew through the red light. My car got totaled, my face got all cut up, my ankle and knee are fucked and I still can’t walk.I did get to call in to do the interview, but Thought, Truck, and STS went in on a crazy long freestyle and I couldn’t like jump in over the phone. It was like being a kid and watching your friends playin right outside your window and you stuck in the house. But they really went in and killed that shit and it’s always good to see your people doing their thing. It made me realize I got good people around me though – my parents dropped everything and came through and I want to shout out my man D and my partner Tom who came and chilled with me in the hospital while they stitched my shit up. D and my friend Montez (studio manager at Larry Gold’s) got me home from the hospital and into my crib. Since I’m laid up now for almost a week, I’ve been thinking about all the handicap people who are less fortunate then everybody that walks around and does whatever they want whenever they want. I’m definitely going to be figuring out how to get more involved and give my time to handicap organizations to raise awareness.”

Salt-N-Pepa Announce Legends of Hip-Hop Tour

Wow! Spotted on Rap-Up:
Legendary rap trio Salt-N-Pepa are repping for the old school set in 2011. Cheryl “Salt” James, Sandy “Pepa” Denton, and Deidre “Dee Dee” Roper (aka DJ Spinderella) are spearheading a 20-city “Legends of Hip-Hop” tour, commemorating the 25th anniversary of their 1986 debut Hot, Cool, & Vicious.
The tour sees the groundbreaking ladies hitting the road with a star-studded roster of veterans including Kurtis Blow, Doug E. Fresh, MC Lyte, Slick Rick, Whodini, Kool Moe Dee, Rob Base, Naughty By Nature, and Biz Markie. Kicking off the tour on February 4 in Cleveland, Ohio, the crew will make stops in Miami, Philadelphia, Memphis, and more before wrapping up the trek at Atlanta’s Civic Center on April 2.
“We encounter so many people who said they long to hear and see us again in concert,” said Salt in a statement. “People really miss seeing us out there. They come up to us and mention that our music touched them, brings back so many great memories for them, and helped them just see life differently.”
Salt-N-Pepa, who stirred up controversy with their hits “Push It,” “Let’s Talk About Sex,” and “Whatta Man,” conceived the tour after selling out performances in 2010. “Last year, the response was incredible. From Atlanta to D.C., we sold out each date,” said Pepa. “People really want to see us and we really wanted to make this happen for our fans. Romeo Relaunching No Limit Records

Wow. Interested to see how this turns out:
“I can relate to the new era of this music business. I have a lot of on-hands experience working with one of the greatest music company execs ever, my father,” Romeo Miller told AllHipHop.com in a statement released today.

“He [Master P.] taught me the marketing of this business and I took the time out to complete my education at USC where I studied technology and business,” Romeo continued. “I feel that I have the best of both worlds. I’m a hard worker with a billion dollars worth of knowledge and many resources. My goal is to build a digital hub where artists can become entrepreneurs and make instant revenue off of their music. My resources and I have created a technology to stop online piracy.”

Gucci Mane Committed to Mental Facility

Wow….I’m going to consider this a power move from his attorney. from TMZ:
The 30-year-old rapper — real name Radric Davis — appeared in a Georgia courtroom yesterday after filing a “Special Plea of Mental Incompetency” … in which he explained he was in no state to “intelligently participate in the probation revocation hearing.”
According to the document, the judge ordered Gucci into custody — and immediately committed the rapper into a mental health treatment facility pending an evaluation of his mental condition.

Gucci Mane & Waka Flocka Back in Jail

Both men were incarcerated Monday for separate infractions — Gucci Mane, aka Radric Davis, in Fulton County, and Waka Flocka, the alias of Juaquin James Malphurs, in Henry County.

Gucci Mane was ordered back to jail by Fulton Superior Court Judge John Goger for violating terms of his probation — the same offense that led to his incarceration for several months last winter. Records show he has been in the Fulton County Jail at least five times since 2005 on drug, aggravated assault and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charges.

Waka Flocka, who turned himself in Monday, is being held on charges including drug and weapons possession as well as criminal street gang activity and a probation violation, according to jail records.

No question here….although there is definitely huge debate as far as the other 9 (or 10, rather….and quite frankly, doesn’t matter who you are and how your list looks, it’ll probably be controversial regardless, in my opinion). Soulja Boy Wrote Whip My Hair

So when everybody thought Souljaboy was done , he hit us with a left hook. Even though his album didnt sell well it doesnt matter because the Whip  my Hair recordwill give him a nice check.

[Jon’s Note: I AM DEFINITELY RESERVING JUDGEMENT ON THIS ONE]

Update: From Rap Radar….

Believe it or not, Soulja Boy’s not completely off his rocker. Although he didn’t pen Willow Smith’s breakout hit, that honor goes to Jukebox (Jon’s Note: If only that was us), he does get interpolation credit for the opening line “Hop out the bed turn my swag on”. That’s right, a bad hair day only meant a SB payday.
