Tech N9ne Speaks On Lil’ Wayne, Possible Collaboration

I think that would be pretty ill. This was probably kicked off from what Wayne said during his interview with Funk Flex. From VIBE (propr to Rap Radar):
“I’m still surprised by what Wayne said—we’ve never meet him, so for him to acknowledge me was a shock,You think people of a certain stature don’t know about you. I just wonder what songs he listens to. His people have been contacting us already, so I’m anxious to see what he sends me. I’m hearing his camp is all ready to send over some music. And I’ll be in New York soon so hopefully I can visit him before he gets out.”
“I just want to thank Wayne for even mentioning me. I’ve been following his career since he started. Just watching him evolve—he was always clever with the rhymes. My own quest was always to get my music out to everybody in world and working with Wayne is truly a way to get it out there.”

T.I. & Tiny Arrested For Drug Possession (3RD UPDATE)

T.I. and Tameka Cottle were arrested shortly after midnight this morning and booked for the alleged possession of a controlled substance. From TMZ:
Law enforcement sources tell us L.A. County Sheriff’s deputies pulled over the multi-platinum selling rapper and his wife in a Maybach on Sunset Boulevard around 10:30PM. Deputies say they smelled marijuana, and after searching the vehicle they arrested T.I. and Tameka.
The couple just got married on July 30 in Miami, and T.I. — real name Clifford Harris Jr. — is on probation after doing seven months in prison on federal weapons charges.
We’re told T.I. and Tameka are in custody right now. Bail amount is $10,000.
Update: TMZ now has photos and video of the incident…also, it’s a possibility that the controlled substance found was includes methamphetamines and ecstasy. Damn, son.
2nd Update: TMZ suggests through photos that lean (codeine and promethazine) might have been the drug in question.
3rd Update: Now the cops are claiming ecstasy.

Young Buck To Sue G-Unit?

Courtesy of Wendy Day:
Nashville, TN – Earlier this month it was reported that armed Federal agents raided the Nashville home of former G-Unit artist, Young Buck, to collect for a past due tax debt. In response, Buck filed for protection under the Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Laws that day (8/3), in effect, stopping the property seizure.
Under Chapter 13 laws, debtors are allowed to keep all of their possessions and then have a 5-year term to repay their creditors under a court-approved payment plan. This measure means that Buck will be able to pay the IRS debt back over time and will get all of his seized property returned to him.
Filing Chapter 13 also has the effect of negating any and all contractual obligations held by the filer, which in the case of Young Buck, includes his recording and publishing contracts with G-Unit Records, thus allowing him to shop for another deal.
Although it is rumored that Buck is readying a September release date for his third studio album, that is not the case. He is however currently under consideration at several labels.
“I was forced to file bankruptcy, not because I am broke. “ Buck advises, “But because I have to get my finances back in order and deal with the contract situations I was in. Now I have a clean slate and full control over my own life and career.”
When asked about his rumored plans to file a lawsuit against his former label, G-Unit, its CEO, 50 Cent and ex-GM and former Young Buck manager, Sha Money XL, Buck says. “Where did that rumor come from?! I have not filed suit against anyone, although, maybe that’s not a bad idea!”
