Young Buck Fails A Drug Test; Hilariously Blames It On Snoop Dogg

052115-music-snoop-dogg-young-buck

He later gets real and puts the blame on himself, but this was a funny read regardless. From TMZ:

Young Buck couldn’t resist smoking weed with Snoop Dogg while on probation … and now the G-Unit rapper is facing more jail time for faking a mandatory drug test.

Buck literally got busted with his pants down according to a probation officer — who says he saw YB using a tube to shoot a “yellow substance” into his drug testing cup last week.

According to docs … he first tried to use the ol’ secondhand smoke excuse, but ultimately caved and admitted he’d gotten high with Snoop. Now, a judge will decide whether Buck has to do jail time for the violation.

Shame … Buck had been on a winning streak, pissing clean for his previous 21 mandatory tests since November 2013.
Bottom line? Snoop’s weed will mess you up. In multiple ways.

6 Officers Indicted By Grand Jury Over Death Of Freddie Gray

From Fox News:

All six officers charged in the police-custody death of Freddie Gray were indicted by a grand jury, a prosecutor said Thursday.

The indictments were very similar to the charges Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby announced about three weeks ago. The most serious charge for each officer, ranging from second-degree “depraved heart” murder to assault, still stood.

Gray suffered a critical spinal injury after police handcuffed, shackled and placed him head-first into a van, Mosby has said. His pleas for medical attention were repeatedly ignored, she said.

Mosby said prosecutors had presented evidence to the grand jury for the past two weeks. Some of the charges were changed based on new information, but she didn’t say what that new information was. She also did not take questions.

“As is often the case, during an ongoing investigation, charges can and should be revised based upon the evidence,” Mosby said.

In all, three of the officers had additional charges brought against them while three others had one less charge.

Coke Boys Rapper Chinx Shot And Killed In New York (UPDATE)

UPDATE: The account’s private, but above shows some screenshots of an Instagram user seemingly taking the credit for Chinx’s death. WTF.

We also added a more detailed story, which includes another shooting victim that’s in critical condition (source):

As reported by Pix11, 31-year-old Lionel “Chinx” Pickens was pronounced dead after being found shot in the torso in a car at Queens Boulevard and 84th Drive. Another unidentified 27-year-old shooting victim was found with Chinx, who is reportedly in critical condition at Jamaica Medical Center. While no one has been arrested yet in the murder of Chinx and the shooting of the other victim, no doubt these Instagram allegations are being followed closely by police.

Our condolences go out to Chinx’s family and friends. Very unfortunate.

Unreleased Track From Rich Homie Quan & Young Thug Contains Rape Lyrics; Quan Apologizes

Spotted on Miss Info:

Rich Homie Quan finds himself in the middle of controversy, following his lyrics on the song “I Made It.” In recent days, a large amount of songs from Rich Homie Quan and former Rich Gang partner Young Thug have leaked online. On one of those songs titled “We Made It,” the Atlanta artists raps about sexually taking advantage of a woman.

“I don’t want your ho, just want that cookie from her,” RHQ raps. “She tried to resist so I took it from her/ How are you gonna tell me no?/ You must not know who I am,” he continues.

Once the lyric was discovered and following strong backlash, Rich Homie Quan issued an apology where he also spoke about the leak and not condoning rape.

“‘I Made It’ was never intended to be released. The song was not lyrically what I wanted to say and was not completed. Without my knowledge, there was a studio leak of the recording. I apologize that it’s out; and I have asked my lawyer to pursue a cease and desist on the song immediately. To be clear, I would never condone rape.”

Blac Chyna Wants Full Custody Of Her Son With Tyga

From TMZ:

Tyga is about to do battle with his baby mama because we’ve learned Blac Chyna is now gunning for full custody of their son.

Sources connected with Blac Chyna tell us she hired a top divorce lawyer last week and will file legal docs asking for primary physical custody. She does not want 2-year-old King Cairo bouncing from home to home during the week because he’s going to start preschool soon.

But Chyna’s issues run deeper. She has a problem with Tyga because he’s dating a minor, and she believes that shows bad judgment that translates into his parenting skills. Chyna also doesn’t want Kylie Jenner to have substantial time around the kid because she believes Kylie lacks maturity.

She’s willing to give Tyga weekend visitation, but that’s it.

We’ve learned when Tyga and Blac Chyna separated, he initially wanted full custody but backed off and said he would share joint custody, but now the tables have turned.

And we’re told Blac Chyna wants child support to cover housing expenses, food, clothing, nannies and school.
But Blac Chyna played a different tune Monday night when our photog asked about her relationship with Tyga … downplaying any beef between them.

DAMN: Junkyard Band’s House Dies In Motorcycle Crash

R.I.P. and condolences to House’s family and friends. From The Washington Post:

Everyone in Washington’s tightknit go-go community knew Derek Colquitt simply as “House.” It was a fitting nickname for the formidable bass player, the big man who held down the rhythm for D.C.’s Junkyard Band, one of the marquee groups of the syncopated, percussion-fueled music style that has provided a soundtrack for Washington since the 1970s.

Now a fixture of that world is gone. Colquitt, 47, and his girlfriend, Jeri Lanelle Whorton, 34, were killed in a fiery motorcycle crash Sunday afternoon in Charles County, Md. Colquitt’s Harley-Davidson smashed into the rear of a Dodge Ram truck that was stopped in a left-turn lane on southbound U.S. Route 301 in Waldorf just before 4 p.m. Police are still investigating the crash but said speed was a factor. The driver of the truck suffered minor injuries.

News of the deaths spread rapidly among family, friends, fans and the many members and former members of the band. All of them are grieving.

“PROBABLE CAUSE”: Six Baltimore Officers Charged In Freddie Gray Death

From the Baltimore Sun, where you can read the full story:

The six Baltimore police officers involved in the arrest of Freddie Gray – who died last month after being injured in police custody – have been charged criminally, State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby announced Friday.

Officer Caesar Goodson Jr., 45, who was the driver of a police van that carried Gray through the streets of Baltimore, was charged with second-degree murder, manslaughter, second-degree assault, two vehicular manslaughter charges and misconduct in office.

Officer William Porter, 25, was charged with involuntary manslaughter, second-degree assault and misconduct in office.

Lt. Brian Rice, 41, was charged with involuntary manslaughter, second-degree assault and misconduct in office.

Sgt. Alicia White, 30, was charged with involuntary manslaughter, second-degree assault and misconduct in office.

Officer Edward Nero, 29, was charged with second-degree assault and misconduct in office.

Officer Garrett Miller, 26, was charged with second-degree assault, misconduct in office and false imprisonment.

Warrants were issued for the arrest of all six officers. It wasn’t immediately clear where the officers were Friday morning.

Mosby’s announcement on the steps of the War Memorial Building was greeted with cheers and applause. She said she told Gray’s family that “no one is above the law.”

Yung Joc Arrested In Atlanta

From TMZ:

“Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star Yung Joc just learned a hard lesson … speeding can open Pandora’s Box and land you in jail.

Law enforcement sources tell us the rapper was pulled over by Atlanta PD Thursday for speeding. Cops ran his license and discovered it was suspended. But that wasn’t all.

YJ has a warrant out for his arrest. We don’t know the nature of the warrant, but it doesn’t matter much. The rapper was cuffed and taken to the cop shop for a not-so-pretty mug. He’s still in custody.

Crunchy Black Gets 7 Months After Drug Arrest (He Accidentally Bought Meth; Wanted Cocaine)

0415-crunchy-black-mug-shot-tmz-2

From TMZ:

Former Three 6 Mafia rapper Crunchy Black will have plenty of time to study the difference between cocaine and meth — he’s gonna spend the next 7 months in jail for his Vegas drug bust.

CB was in court Wednesday and pled guilty to misdemeanor drug possession. TMZ broke the story … Crunchy was arrested earlier this month for meth.

Crunch had the worst defense we’ve heard in a while. According to the police report, when an officer found the drugs on Crunchy … he replied, “Oh damn. I was trying to buy that powder, not meth.”

The Oscar winner got 30 days for the drugs, but also had 6 months to serve for a domestic violence case he’d skipped out on — so, he’ll do the time consecutively.

Did David Guetta and the Black Eyed Peas Rip Off Shy Glizzy?

David Guetta and the Black Eyed Peas premiered a new song during Guetta’s performance at Coachella this year. The track featured a simple, piano heavy beat and a chorus that goes “This Is Awesome.” Sound familiar? It might, because Shy Glizzy’s breakout single “Awwsome” from 2013/2014 sounds a little too similar. Sabrina Vaz-Holder has more for Karen Civil, including video footage of the new single in full.
