Master of the Mix (Episode 4) Viewing In D.C.

The “Master of the Mix” DC Event Series made its fourth stop at Tabaq Bistro on historic U St. in Washington, DC on Wed, Nov 24th, 2010. The guest DJs were DJ Heat and DJ Trini, with resident DJ Stylus who rocked the party like no other! It was the day before Thanksgiving and quaint red room on the first floor was quickly filling up. The flashing lights were going off, and the Smirnoff cocktails were definitely making their way around the room. Episode 4 of “Master of the Mix” left you with your mouth open as DJ Mars ended up sitting down on the floor during his critique from the judges, as he did not agree with some of their comments. As a result, he was the DJ to leave the show and DJ Rap has another day to compete, along side Rich Medina, DJ Jazzy Joyce, DJ Scratch and Vikter Duplaix.
Thank you to our Community Partners for this week’s viewing: Elite DC Magazine & Bawsome.com!

Jesse Boykins III – Come To My Room (Video)

When I created The Beauty Created I aimed to make music that symbolizes moments of love at every level. It has been 2 years since the task and I feel as if I have made these very moments with all of you. I know the best way to show my appreciation is to continue our connection by making more passionate music. I am truly grateful for every ear that has heard a song from that album, and shared a song with their loved ones. I will continue to insist on romance in every lyric I put melody to. Thank You. Also Thanks to Soul Train & Centric for my award nomination. – Jesse
