I think I may have mentioned this before on Twitter but I have noticed a new trend: rappers throwing release parties for just about everything. First or new single? Release party. New video? Pop the bottles. Did a remix? Major event. This is my question: who is deciding that these are good ideas? Do one of the aforementioned milestones mean success now or are we just finding any reason to party, instead of…you know…getting back to your craft to continue to reach success? I’m just sayin…the game isn’t the same anymore. Get back to work or fall by the wayside…
