DOCUMENTARY: OG Maco – OGG The Movie
In an attempt to keep his spark post-‘You Guessed It’, Atlanta rapper OG Maco has released a 20-something minute documentary — titled OGG The Movie — to show the viewers that it took a lot more than a plastic hit to get him here (and that his grind is a lot bigger than people think).
Truth be told, all he has to do is keep dropping tracks like ‘Love In The City’, in my opinion….he’ll be a bonafide rock star in no time. Full synopsis below.
OGG, in their new film, takes the opportunity to tell their story from their own perspective. Often only considered three letters, O.G.G., the acronym for Originality Gains Greatness, has made significant strides as a collective, company, and label, in a short amount of time, at least to the public. Co-CEO’s OG Brylan Kerr and OG Maco tell their side of things from the very beginning, why and how OGG was created and everything it took to reach this current stage of success.
The 22 minute film showcases the struggles, the success, the highs and the lows, and the results from their dedication and hard work over a six month time period. OGG The Movie, displays the impact a solid group of people who can come together and focus on a concrete goal and do whatever it takes to to accomplish it by simultaneously being true to yourself. Remember, no one in OGG is the same. Everyone comes from a different walk of life. It’s always gangster to be original.
