Funkmaster Flex Apparently Got 2 Chainz In His Feelings (Video)

Somehow we missed this, but sometime last month, Funk Flex appeared on Highly Questionable with Dan Le Batard and Bomani Jones on ESPN2. During his interview, he said that 2 Chainz had the worst freestyle on his show (I don’t know which one…perhaps this clip is the culprit).

Fast-forward to a recent performance at the Best Buy Theater in New York City, the man formally known as Tity Boi used said stage to express his feelings on Flex (above). Spoiler: he’s pissed.

“I don’t give a fuck what Funkmaster Flex gotta say about this nigga from Atlanta. I ain’t use no motherfuckin’ help. I ain’t come to no nigga for no favors. I got up here on my own. Fuck you and what you think about me, nigga!”

Lethal Bizzle Feat. Cherri Voncelle – The Drop (Video)

With the music press talking of a new wave of popularity for grime in 2014, it was only a matter of time before one of the scene’s biggest names, Lethal Bizzle, made his return. Following up from the success of 2013’s summer Top 20 hit ‘Party Right’, the inventor of DENCH and social media legend Bizzle is back with the addictive new single ‘The Drop’.

Once again enlisting Diztortion on production duties, ‘The Drop’ also includes a powerful vocal performance from up-and-coming Cherri Voncelle on the track’s chorus. One half of London-based duo Dora Martin, Cherri has worked with huge artists as wide reaching as Jessie J, Ne-Yo, Frank Ocean and Wiley.

Featuring Bizzle laying down some of his trademark bars over Diztortion’s heavy electro trap beat, ‘The Drop’ is an infectious track that has already picked up radio support from some of urban music’s biggest tastemakers such as Mistajam, and is a guaranteed party starting tune that will set dancefloors alight when it drops on 1st June.
