Nas Performs At The Kennedy Center In D.C. (Video)

Nas held down an entire weekend at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts as part of both the Hip Hop World Festival as well as Illmatic‘s 20 year anniversary….not only that, he was backed by DJ Green Lantern and the National Symphony Orchestra. YSDWYSD got footage of the event, with Nasir performing ‘The World Is Yours’ above and ‘You’re Da Man’ and ‘Live At The BBQ’ below.

During the week of the album’s release, the “Who Do You Love” artist took the REVOLT lenses with him as he hit up Los Angeles’ Power 106 radio station, stopping by Big Boy’s Neighborhood radio program to discuss the success of his debut album, which went on to move an impressive 61,000 units in the following week.

But YG wasn’t just there for an interview with the on-air power players, he was also joined by his mother and grandma, who expressed just how proud they are of their baby boy. It’s a special moment, that’ll call for anyone to immediately play My Krazy Life’s heartwarming closer “Sorry Momma”—a record that finds a rueful YG promising to do right by his momma.
