@DaleyMusic – Be (Lyric Video)

The latest single from Daley is taken from Days & Nights, out now.

Lyrics added below:

Meet me at the station,
We can take a taxi home, maybe
There’s time for conversation
Catch up on some things, I don’t know.

You say we’ve done it all
The flame went out, the spark has gone
But what if you’re wrong?
It’s been so long since you’ve seen me
How can you know, how you really feel?

If we run out of things to say
I promise I won’t make you feel bad, no
We’ll just roll the windows down
Drive around this town and be.
Be… after all this time
Be…

Will you sleep tonight
Or will you lie awake like me
Pillow to pillow back to back
Pulling the sheets and all of that
Waiting for eyes to meet…

Wake me when you wake up
Miss me when we break up
Kiss me and we’ll make up yeah…
I know is not the same, but
Don’t wanna say we gave up
Please don’t give the game up no…

Cause if you don’t know what to say
I promise I won’t make you feel bad, no
You’re not the only one
Afraid to say you’re still in love
Hello
If we run out of things to say
I promise I won’t, make you feel bad, no, no
We’ll just roll the windows down
Drive around this town and be

So if the right words won’t come out
As the city lights pass us by
Let the silence be the only sound
And I’ll hear everything I need to hear
We’ve been through it all

So if you don’t know what to say
I promise I won’t make you feel bad, no
We’ll just roll the windows down
Drive around this town and be.

Maxine Ashley – Perpetual Nights (Video) (Prod. Pharrell)

While she’s probably been making music since, Pharrell’s artist (or associate, I’m not sure) Maxine Ashley hasn’t appeared on this website since a collaboration with The Cool Kids in 2011. With that said, I definitely dig this track and I am interested to see if (with the help of Pharrell’s production at the latest) she will make a big splash this year.

You can check out her latest visual for ‘Perpetual Nights’ above.
