G$tar Giorgio Ft. Shy Glizzy – $wagg Back (Video) (Prod. Metro Boomin)

I’ve been hearing about G$tar Giorgio for a minute, from Los and from Bucky Malone (he appeared on Bucky’s tape last month.)  I was always impressed with the VA rapper’s memorable rap style, especially here. I guess I wasn’t paying enough attention, because this new video for “$wagg Back”, shot by Muddy District caught me completely off-guard. With a captivating flow, a catchy hook, a Metro Boomin’ beat that doesn’t compromise his approach and a well-placed Glizzy guest verse, I can’t sleep on this track or G$tar anymore.

The LOX Perform On Sway In The Morning’s Live Concert Series (Video)

“Feels f**cking great… for hip hop,” said Styles P, on Sway in the Morning, when asked about how it feels to drop an EP with The LOX.

Jadakiss, Sheek Louch & Styles P, one of the most solid groups in hip hop, stepped foot in our Live In-Studio Concert Series and performed Faded & Talk About It, off their recent EP, The Trinity.

While in-studio, they also opened up about their lowest moment in hip hop, & spoke about what they would do if the music industry tried to make them compromise their integrity.

Find out what they said, in Sway in the Morning’s interview, above.

Shia Labeouf Headbutts Guy In South London Pub (Videos)

From TMZ:

Shia LaBeouf just headbutted a guy in a bar after what sounds like a nuclear argument over his girlfriend’s mom … and TMZ has the video.

At 6 seconds into the clip, you see Shia (wearing a white cap) headbutt a bald guy.

Shia screams at the guy, “What are you saying about my girl’s mom? Are you f**king kidding me bro?”

You hear a girl — presumably the girl Shia was with — screaming his name in a plea for him to stop.

The fight went down at a pub called Hobgoblin in South London Thursday night — in a pretty rough part of town.

Shia knows the pub well … he was in a fight at the same joint in November, 2012. And his bar fight history doesn’t end there … he also got his ass whooped on the street outside a Vancouver bar in 2011.

CHIRAQ: Chief Keef & Chicago’s Rap Underground (Trailer)

CHIRAQ is set to be an 8 part documentary by Noisey, similar to Worldstar’s The Field, and in some ways The Interrupters, examining violence and the growing rap scene in Chicago. We’re sure to see some of the most violent neighborhoods in the city, some concert footage and, according to VICE, appearances from “Chief Keef, Young Chop, Lil Durk, Save Money, the Chicago Police Department and the Nation of Islam.” I have mixed feelings about the entity that is Noisey, VICE’s music blog, mostly because of some of their more controversial posts, they way they go about some of their coverage, and personally, about how they probably failed to probably source us on coverage multiple times.  But, I’m not going to expand on that right now.  I do think documentaries examining Chicago’s violence, (or violence anywhere) and the music scene are interesting and beneficial if done right.  Even if they’ve been done before and even if it does look like they could be glamorizing violence with this series.  Since I’ve liked some of VICE/Thomas Morton’s documentary work before (that’s the guy with glasses ducking down in the trailer) I’m hoping this will be good, all worries and Noisey complaints aside.  Part one is coming soon…
