Mayweather vs. Guerrero took place May 4, 2013 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather defended his title against Guerrero in the night’s main event.

Round 1: Guerrero pressing early, but Mayweather scores with an early right to the body. Right hand lead scores for Mayweather and they clinch. Diving right from Mayweather scores again. And again. The lead right scores again for Mayweather, but Guerrero reacting to everything Mayweather throws.

Round 2: Guerrero backing Mayweather up and lands a left, but the referee separates them. Both fighters exchange a left. Jab for Mayweather. And another. And a third, but he takes a shirt left. Right straight for Mayweather lands and he dodges a Guerrero counterpunch. Right straight from Mayweather ends the round.

Round 3: Guerrero trying to corner Mayweather as the champion dodges most of Guerrero’s punches. Right straight scores for Mayweather. Guerrero with a right hook, but Mayweather responds with one of his own. Hard right again from Mayweather. Another right hand lead for Mayweather scores.

Round 4: Guerrero pressuring hard. Left hook counter for Guerrero lands, but Mayweather scores again with a right. Left hook counter partially catching Guerrero from Mayweather. And another right straight. Fighters trade left hooks along the ropes. Counter left now for Mayweather.

Round 5: Guerrero scores a left to the body along the ropes. And a nice left hook, too. Mayweather cracks him with a right straight. Guerrero scores with a left charging in, but Mayweather turns out. Hard right to the body for Mayweather.

Round 6: Three punch combo from Guerrero blocked. Jab from Guerrero, but Mayweather scores with the right. Left hook lands for Guerrero as he pushes Mayweather back. Nice jab as Guerrero presses in. And another.

Round 7: Right hook to the body for Mayweather. Guerrero digging at the body in the clinch along the ropes. Not much action this round.

Round 8: Both fighters trade jabs, but Mayweather scores again with a left hook. Another right hand by Mayweather. Two more rights from Mayweather although Guerrero scores a jab of his own. Another hard right for Mayweather. Hard right hook scores for Mayweather after a body shot.
