Kevin Gates’ video for ‘Paper Chasers’ off of the The Luca Brasi Story EP.
So Vanessa Hudgens must’ve got some good act-rite on the set of Spring Breakers (Gucci, perhaps?) because something from that movie must have created this shit. No clue on where this was going, but I wasted my time clicking on this video, and as a result, I hope you will too.

If you have an hour to spend, Rakin spits some serious knowledge at Red Bull’s Music Academy:
Hip hop’s golden age began in 1986, the day Rakim stepped to a microphone to record “Eric B Is President.” Only 18 years old (though he sounded considerably more worldly), Rakim (real name William Griffin) had a smooth, effortless flow that brought a cool melodicism and high intelligence to the MC game—he gave both fire and ice, set within the wiry frame of his serious features. Even those who didn’t get the Five Percenter reference wouldn’t have bridled at his nickname, God. His partnership with his DJ, Eric B, yielded four great albums and numerous classic singles before Rakim split for a solo career. Despite initial success with 1997’s The 18th Letter, he endured several frustratingly fruitless years signed to Dr Dre’s Aftermath, working on an album that never came. Now Rakim back in his native New York, the city where his immense influence is most clearly audible, notably in other NYC wordsmiths such as Nas. As recently as 2012, The Source named him the greatest MC of all time.

Amy Robach sat down with Beyonce this morning to discuss everything from her upcoming movie role in the animated picture EPIC, raising Blue Ivy, wanting more kids and her recent trip to Cuba. Bey says that, at this point in her life, she just wants “happiness and great friends—and great family.” She does want more children, but isn’t in any rush.
“I would like more children. I think my daughter needs some company. I definitely love being big sister…And I am very protective. I just want to make sure that she can have a healthy, safe, normal life…in the back of my mind, she’s my priority. And life is completely different now. I feel really, really just lucky that I can still do what I love, and now have a way bigger meaning. And that’s to be her mother.”
Berner drops off his visual to the new record with Wiz Khalifa over the Phil Collin’s sample, ‘Another Day In Paradise’. Roll up and enjoy this video.
Chinx Drugz drops the video for one of the Harry Fraud-produced standouts from his Cocaine Riot 3 mixtape. Just like when the tape came out, I’m not really digging Chinx flow on this with one, especially with the singing…otherwise, the song is good.
TMZ has now obtained footage on Kelly the day he was found unconscious at his Atlanta home on May 1st. The video was said to be shot around 7 AM that morning. The rapper was later pronounced dead at Atlanta Medical Center around 5:30 PM that evening.
Hip Hop Since 1987 is back with day 5 of its DMV 30 for Thirty. This time Glizzy raps, at Nationals Stadium. The mic sounds fucked up unfortunately, but Glizzy still goes in.
Some people really don’t like Justin Bieber…..above is a video of the Biebster getting “attacked” during his concert (this just went down shortly before we posted this, by the way). Thanks to security and Justin Bieber’s showmanship, things got handled pretty quickly.
No pianos were seriously injured in the making of this clip.
