God help us all. From TMZ:

R. Kelly needs funding — AND QUICK — because the singer tells TMZ he’s ready to film THIRTY TWO new chapters of his legendary hip-hopera “Trapped in the Closet” … but he needs financial backing first.

When we last saw “Trapped” … the year was 2007 and Kelly had released 22 chapters, involving a little person who crapped his pants … a neighbor with the spatula … and a pimp with the stuttering problem.

Now, Kelly — who was leaving an L.A. gym yesterday — tells us he wants to continue the saga — “but it costs a lot of money to do … so we’re actually looking for investors.”

Slim Dunkin Murdered Over Dispute About Candy?

MTV and AP reports:
â€œThe victim, Mario Hamilton, known as Slim Dunkin,….according to witnesses, someone came into this room, struck him and a fight ensued. The information we’re getting, it’s unconfirmed, but witnesses are saying this whole thing started over a piece of candy….“ It appears the victim was scheduled to do a photo shoot,” Meadows told The Associated Press. “Before the video shoot took place, it appears the victim and suspect got involved in a verbal altercation. We don’t know what that altercation was about.” “The suspect produced a weapon, discharged that handgun one time, striking the victim in the chest,” Meadows said. The performer was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Meadows said police have not been able to identify the shooter. He said 13 to 20 people were in the small office-type building at the time of the shooting, which took place around 5:30 p.m. local time, but they were in different places.
