50 Cent Defends Chris Brown & Rihanna

50 Cent has defended Chris Brown and Rihanna’s rekindled relationship, saying the public should stop vilifying Chris for assaulting the Bajan singer in 2009.

50 Cent’s debut Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ will turn 10 tomorrow. 50 Cent sat with MTV and dissected a few tracks off the LP.

“Many Men (Death Wish)”
50 Cent had been rapping for years before he was shot in May 2000, and he was a pretty good rapper, too, but those nine shots changed everything. On the Digga-produced “Many Men,” the superstar MC laid it all on the line, talking about the price that was put on his head and name-dropping the alleged gunman who was killed three weeks later. ” ‘Many Men’ is the war chant,” 50 said.

“Back Down”
50 is always quick to remind fans that he has less compassion than the average human being, and on “Back Down” he gave us an early glimpse of his cold ways. Fif’s beef with Ja Rule and Irv Gotti’s Muder Inc. camp was well-documented and, on a few occasions, spilled over into the street. There are a number of allegations on each side, but one thing is for certain: After Fif dropped this dis track, Rule’s career suffered permanent setbacks. “That was the nail in the coffin,” 50 snickered.

50 Cent Shuts Down The Game’s Efforts To Reunite G-Unit

50g

In response to The Game’s online petition to reunite G-Unit (what response did he expect, really?), 50 Cent has spoken to The Boombox strongly about the matter:

“You’re not gonna get nothing back together…I decide that. I do what I want to do. I don’t give a fuck what they talking about on a blog post.”

“Every time there was nothing going on [Game] said “Fuck you, 50,” to generate some sort of new interest…but now that doesn’t work anymore. So you gotta figure out a new way to do it. And now it’s saying, ‘We’ll get G-Unit back together!'”

“If it worked it would be something cool that I did…[but] what would you say if I actually did put it together and then it fell apart right in front of you? Or if I bring them around each other and their feelings from a long time — the disrespect and the talking — bleed over into the people that are just around them and then one of them gets shot and killed, or one of them gets stabbed and hurt bad. Then what?”

“I think people think because they see that I’m not stupid — that I did acquire new information as I went — that I’m not who I was when I got here…and what happens is, when you put them [together]… you don’t do that where I’m from. Not unless you want to see some shit happen.”

50 Cent Explains How He Got His Hands On An MMG Chain

From MTV:

Usually the outspoken rap star uses his chains to help brand his own camp, but in his latest video for “Major Distribution,” there is a brief cameo from a Rick Ross-styled Maybach Music Group chain.

So how did a piece promoting Fif’s biggest rival end up in the final cut?

“It came from a jeweler. Jewelers, they made it. Yeah, we got it and ended up putting it in the video,” the G-Unit juggernaut explained Thursday. “That’s what rappers do: Rappers put jewelry in videos.”
