Kanye West’s Upcoming Collaboration With adidas Delayed

Kanye-West-at-the-adidas-Global-Brand-Conference

While we should be seeing some designs in June, the actual release for Kanye West’s first collaboration with adidas is delayed until sometime at the top of 2015. From High Snobiety:

One of the most interesting parts of [Kanye West’s speech at adidas’ Global Brand Conference] is the one where he mentions that the upcoming Kanye West x adidas collection will release in June. Internal sources have told us now that in June, West will be presenting internally his collection. That means that they are currently working on design and are planning to be finished in June, with the official release actually only planned for Spring 2015. Potentially there will be a first sneaker coming in Fall/Winter 2014, but even that is not confirmed yet. The full collection release is for now realistically planned for January/February 2015.

Adidas Teams Up With Julio Bashmore

Courtesy of RWD TV:

Bristolian Julio Bashmore is something of an unwilling champion of the new house explosion. Preferring to let the music do the talking, his crossover smash Au Seve propelled him to national prominence last year following underground hits Battle For Middle You and Around, firmly placing him at the forefront of dance music in the UK ahead of what is set to be a genuinely incredible summer for the producer/DJ and the scene as a whole.

In the clip, Julio Bashmore is wearing adidas’ Energy Boost, which are available at JD Sports.

Adidas: Kanye West Is Cool, But We’ll Pass On Kim Kardashian

Grand Opening of RYU Restaurant - Inside

From Belfast Telegraph:

Kim Kardashian won’t be joining forces with Adidas, alongside Kanye West’s new line.

The TV star’s fiancé Kanye West apparently suggested the partnership to the sports giant, who allegedly declined.

Kanye, 36, has just signed a big money deal with the brand, and thought it would be a good idea for Kim to bring out a women’s line to run alongside his own designs.

“Kanye suggested the idea but Adidas declined. So he’ll have to make do with just one range in the family.

“He’s thinking of having Kim model his gear when it eventually comes out,” a source told British newspaper The Sun.

Kanye’s collaboration with Adidas comes after his failed partnership with rival sports brand Nike.

“You see me in interviews how I want to do clothes… I want to let you know I signed my deal a week and a half ago”

Adidas Originals By Jeremy Scott (Spring/Summer 2013)

Waaaaaaaayyyy too trippy for me, but you might dig it:

Not one to shy away from the outlandish, Jeremy Scott always brings his unique perspective of fashion to the table, often referencing pop culture from the past to the present. Forming a tight-knit relationship with adidas Originals since 2003, Jeremy continues to design unisex apparel and footwear that is high energy, surreal and most certainly fun, playing with bright prints and unexpected shapes.

Jeremy Scott’s spring/summer 2013 collection is as eccentric as ever with influences from mystical feathered creatures to billiard balls. An all-over eagle print carries throughout the collection and is executed on Jeremy’s signature winged high top shoe. Other highlights include the JS chain cage track top with cut-out body and basketball jerseys reinterpreted with uneven hems, fringing and woven fabrics. His affinity for animals continues: there’s a leopard headpiece and a pair of sneakers adorned with sunglass-wearing poodles.
