Ari Lennox Added to Lizzo’s ‘Cuz I Love You’ Tour

Congrats to the Dreamville songstress (and D.C.’s own)! As seen on ABC News Radio:

Lizzo has officially recruited fellow crooner Ari Lennox to join on her on the road for the North American leg of her Cuz I Love You Too Tour.

Tuesday, the “Truth Hurts” chart-topper shared the news with fans on Twitter, describing the addition of Lennox as the ultimate “p**** jam.” The cross-country trek is set to kick off this week in Oregon and will visit a handful of major cities such as New Orleans, Miami, Dallas, Chicago and more before wrapping in Las Vegas on October 25.

Lennox’s new gig as Lizzo’s opening act arrives on the heels of the singer’s recently wrapped Shea Butter Baby tour, in support of her hit single and debut album of the same name.

Released in May to critical acclaim, Shea Butter Baby showcases the singer’s expansive range across a variety of vintage hip-hop soul productions.

In addition, the Dreamville signee recently earned her first number one album: She’s part of the chart-topping Revenge of the Dreamers III compilation.

Tickets for the Cuz I Love You Too Tour are currently available for purchase via Lizzo’s personal website.

After an acclaimed documentary and a huge amount of hype, Dreamville Records Revenge of The Dreamers III compilation album is here. If you saw the REVENGE doc, you know what to expect. The record label’s entire roster of J. Cole, Bas, Cozz, Omen, Lute, Ari Lennox, EarthGang, and J.I.D, with guests from all over. The biggest standouts from the long list of features including T.I., Dreezy, and SmokePurpp are Buddy, who stole the show in the documentary, Young Nudy, and Guapdad 400. Those last three are the only non-Dreamville artists to be on the album twice. The full credits are included below, as well as album streams from multiple platforms. Enjoy.
