During MTV’s RapFix, Busta Rhymes revealed to Sway that the official remix to ‘Twerk It‘ (which was originally remixed by Nicki Minaj until that became the official version, I guess) will feature T.I., French Montana, Ne-Yo, Vybz Kartel (!) & Jeremih.
Not saying this is a bad song but you can watch this video on mute*. This may not be safe for work but Busta Rhymes drops off his visual for his new single with Nicki Minaj.
*Warning: watching this video may give you a heart attack.
Now THIS is a power move: Amplify Dot has linked up with NYC rapper extraordinaire Busta Rhymes for her next single, titled ‘I’m Good’. Not only that, the visual is already in the works, having been filmed in Jamaica. Check out the track below.
With Tony Touch’s new album The Piecemaker 3: Return Of The 50 MCs coming out on July 9th, Tony has decided to release footage he took from back in the day. It’s a series we’re calling #50DaysToThe50MCs. The first in the series is of a trip Tony took to the Gavin Convention in 1994. There he caught Busta Rhymes and the late ODB freestyling for the crowd.
At this rate, ‘Twerk It‘ should be the hottest single this summer……when the ladies love it (and don’t mind getting loose to it), it’s time to push that shit to the limits. Check out Busta showing out at The Palms in Vegas (more below).
Taken from Miss Info, you can explain it better than me (being that she was there):
Gig It? We were pretty confused by the name, too. But last night, NYC media folks were invited out try out the new online game with a ton of special guests. 90% of them being rappers. Everyone from Rick Ross, Pusha T, Raekwon, Ace Hood, French Montana, Fabolous, Busta Rhymes, Nas, 2 Chainz, DJ Khaled, Slaughterhouse, Large Professor, Ace Hood, Ne-Yo, Jaime Foxx, T-Pain and more were roaming around the VIP. The game basically allows you to pick real rappers and customize a custom concert with every detail catered to your liking. You can choose the music, backup dancers, speakers, opening act, headline performers, wardrobes, sponsors, etc. So far all of the artists mentioned are in the game, with more big announcements to come.
Pharrell gave us a preview of Busta Rhymes’ upcoming single ‘Twerk It’ during his performance at the HTC One launch in Brooklyn last week. Today, Busta releases a video trailer for the song and you may not want to watch this at work.
In addition to performing his collaboration with Daft Punk, Pharrell also premiered a new track from Busta Rhymes, titled ‘Twerk It’, during HTC’s One Launch event.
Free has returned to microphone, and has taken Busta Rhymes (and us listeners) along for the ride. The credits also state that Jaz-O contributed his pen to the track as well.
Shaheem Reid scores himself a new interview series with Life+Times, and his first guest in Busa Buss:
In the premiere episode of the The Round Up, host Shaheem Reid presents an in-depth interview with Busta Rhymes. Busta speaks on being a recording artist for the past 20 years, working with artists from Diddy to Q-Tip and how he’s seen the music industry evolve.
