Constant touring can cause artists to seek out refuge in the recording booth along the way. Here, Life + Times catches up with Curren$y after a show in Chicago, as he and fellow Jet Life Recordings emcee Young Roddy spend two days recording “3 Piece Set,” an EP for “Closed Sessions” at Soundscape Studios.

Jernts with Spitta follows Mousa & The Jets as they plan a surprise for Curren$y and present it to him and present it to him outside Jet Lounge at the House Of Blues in New Orleans, Louisiana.

And the award for most pointless and vain video award goes to….

Curren$y accepts & shares a few words upon receiving XXL Magazine’s “EP Of The Year” award for Cigarette Boats, a 5-track EP made with producer Harry Fraud and features Smoke DZA & Styles P.

While making it rain money in the strip club may be tax deductible soon, making it rain marijuana may not have quite the same financial effect. Here’s ashort clip of Currensy’s concert from last week in Miami. He goes into his set, & then stops when fans start tossing blunts on the stage. He then performs “Elevator Music” and his “I Got 5 on it” Freestyle. Fat Joe was also in attendance.
