We really can’t wait for that new Trel project. In the meantime, you can check out his latest visual for “Low Life” above.

Two new tracks from DMV’s own WillThaRapper.
Q Da Fool delivers a 2-for-1: a visual for Haze (directed by Valley Visions) and the Wale-assisted “Church.”

First off: if you’re late to the party (like us), then you missed Wale’s new 4-track EP It’s Complicated, his first as a free agent (he’s still with MMG and has his own imprint, Every Blue Moon) which features a single appearance from Jacquees.
Added to that, the D.C. icon now has a new visual for another track titled “Staying Power,” which takes him throughout the city — including his mural at Ben’s Chili Bowl — and sees additional cameos from Lightshow and more. Check out both drops below.
The man formerly known as Lyriciss is still one of the most talented, sharp emcees from the D.C. area…and he’s back with new fire for the listeners:
After a 4-year hiatus from music, Rob Regal returns over Chance The Rapper’s “Acid Rain” to explain just how much hasn’t changed in his absence, proudly exclaiming, “I’m still me.” Filmed in Washington DC’s historic Georgetown section.
Directed by Dante Bailey
Something to hold fans over until Trel drops his new project. This one is fire.

For her latest, Rico Nasty upgrades one of her latest singles by recruiting Shy Glizzy for its remix.

Slutty Boyz’ Dew Baby is back with a new project titled B.L.O.W., which sees appearances from Fat Trel, I Am NorthEast and more. Stream below.

You know what? We can remember when Trillectro made it’s stamp as the premiere music festival in Washington, D.C. (not Maryland, not Virginia — D.C.). We can also remember when that was followed by a slew of other D.C. festivals — whether or not Broccoli City’s big event was in this grouping is something we’re honestly not sure about. Regardless, it’s amazing to see BC Fest continue to outdo themselves every year — which is exactly what they’ve done for 2018.
Check out the line-up: Migos, Miguel and Cardi B will be handling headliner duties while Daniel Caesar, Nipsey Hussle, H.E.R., Rich The Kid, Lightshow and more provide support. Too say this is concrete awesomeness would be a severe understatement.

Before the new year come around, Southeast D.C. rapper Big Davoo blessed the masses with a hard-hitting new single and visual for “Playing Me 50,” which features assistance from Atlanta rising star Bali Baby. The clip (which can be seen above) was shot by Rell Ent.
In addition to checking that out, we also have to showcase a track from B Street Jizzle, who manages Davoo and heads the brand The Family Business (TFB). Below, you can check out “Facts.” Keep an eye out for more from all parties soon in 2018.

This one is from last year, but definitely needs to be spotlighted for 2018. D.C.’s Paco Panama and Chris Bo teamed up for a quality project titled Titans, which can be streamed below in full courtesy of Spinrilla.
If regards to Paco, check out more from him and his TFB movement here.
After some circulation on BET Jams, Lightshow officially liberates his visual for “No Info” with YFN Lucci. Directed by Alex Acosta.

Shy drops his brand new mixtape on his birthday. Check it out on Apple Music or Spotify (below).

This past Sunday, Lil Dream delivers his first installment of #SundayIssue. You can check out that track — titled “Slay” — below.
Following it’s premiere via REVOLT TV, 2JayLeft delivers his latest clip for “Praying 4 Em,” taken from UPT Negus 3.
We have become one of Hip-Hop’s frontrunners — word to Jimmy Fallon. Check out GoldLink, Shy Glizzy and Brent Faiyaz performing their hit collaboration “Crew” (with The Roots!), taken from GoldLink’s latest album At What Cost.
Also: check out Knxwledge’s recent remix of the track below.

Don’t know how we missed this one, but better late than never: Kingpen Slim, one of D.C.’s best lyricists in the game, is back with a new single titled “Stash,” which sees production from Heavy. Hopefully, this means that the Uptown emcee’s follow-up to Life After Doubt is on the horizon.
In case you missed it…. Local DMV rap star ‘Big Flock’ called in for his first radio interview since being sentenced and jail. In an EXCLUSIVE interview with Little Bacon Bear, Big Flock tells of his life while behind bars and what his fans can expect upon his release.
