French Montana sat down with Rolling Stone to announce that the fourth installment of his Mac & Cheese will officially become his sophomore album (you can check out the as of now artwork for the project here). You may remember the previous three Mac & Cheese mixtapes before the release of his debut album Excuse My French. Montana had this to say about his upcoming album below:

“I’m going back to the essence on this album,” “We’re giving the fans that grew up on me what they want. When we made the other music, it was just to be a little different and not do the same thing over.”

French Montana also revealed that he has a song with Macklemore on his album called “Nightmare”. He also will be working with Rick Ross and working on Kanye’s upcoming album.

French Montana is really taking it back to his African roots. From TMZ:

French Montana has added to his menagerie of exotic animals, with a gift that has a tendency to throw feces at you.

We got video of French and his new little friend … an adorable baby monkey named Julius Caesar.

The monkey was a surprise gift from producer Mally Mall … who presented the banana enthusiast to Montana on board his private jet.

We’re told French has been bottle feeding JC … and even slept with him last night.
