Kodak Black Pleads Guilty, Gets Probation In Sexual Assault Case

From TMZ:

Kodak Black just pled guilty to first-degree assault and battery in his sexual assault case in South Carolina, and he’s been sentenced to 18 months probation … TMZ has learned.

The rapper was originally indicted on a felony charge of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, but his attorneys, Bradford Cohen and Beattie Ashmore, tell us Kodak copped a plea to a lesser charge to put the case behind him.

As we reported, Kodak was charged for allegedly sexually assaulting a teenage girl back in February 2016 at a hotel. According to prosecutors, he pushed the girl into a wall and onto a bed before assaulting her, allegedly biting her breast and neck. Kodak had denied the allegations.

Ed Clements, the 12th Circuit Solicitor in Florence County, tells TMZ … Kodak admitted in court he bit the girl, but apologized to her, on the record.

We’re told Kodak was given a 10-year suspended prison sentence and placed on 18 months of supervised state probation.

While on probation, he will not wear an ankle monitor, but must let his probation officer know where he goes and where he lives.

We’re also told Kodak will not be allowed to use drugs, drink alcohol or have guns and if he successfully completes the 18-month probation … he won’t spend a day in prison for the case.

Kodak Black Shot At In Tallahassee

As seen on TMZ:

Gunfire erupted around 3 AM Monday morning in the parking lot of a McDonald’s in Tallahassee. Law enforcement tells us the shooter opened fire from a car that was tailing Kodak and co.

Law enforcement sources say the rapper’s entourage was being followed by several cars attempting to cut them off as they left a nightclub, and Kodak’s camp pulled into the McDonald’s and blocked the entrance with a car while KB went inside to pick up an order.

We’re told one of the cars tailing Kodak went to the McDonald’s, left and then came back … and that’s when people inside the vehicle started shooting.

Kodak’s security guard was shot in the leg and rushed to a local hospital with serious injuries, police say, while Kodak was whisked away in an armored car and was unharmed.

Lil Wayne and Kodak Black Get Clemency From Trump

A last hurrah before he leaves office, to Weezy and Kodak’s benefit. From CNN, where you can read the full story:

The White House announced early Wednesday that President Donald Trump has granted a pardon to rapper Lil Wayne and a commutation to rapper Kodak Black, two of the raft of pardons and commutations on his final day in office.

“President Trump granted a full pardon to Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., also known as ‘Lil Wayne,'” the statement from White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany read. “Mr. Carter pled guilty to possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon, owing to a conviction over 10 years ago. Brett Berish of Sovereign Brands, who supports a pardon for Mr. Carter, describes him as ‘trustworthy, kind-hearted and generous.'”

T.I. & Kodak Black are Officially Beefin’ on Wax [LISTEN]

Keep in mind that this is all over the passing of a man who’s grown to promote peace and unity: both on the streets and within the Hip-Hop culture.

As you’re probably aware at this point, this whole issue kicked off following everyone’s collective facepalm over Kodak Black’s Lauren London comments. Since then, T.I. has led the so-called march against the Floridian rapper, which turned into a back-and-forth argument on Instagram, which turned into T.I. reportedly having everything Kodak removed from his Trap Museum in Atlanta.

Then, we see this…

…which sounds like T.I. is ready to get into a Rap battle over the conflict, much in the same way he did with long-time adversary Floyd Mayweather. Not to be outdone, Kodak returned fire with the hilariously-titled “Expeditiously,” which not only goes at the Grand Hustle head honcho, but also wife Tiny:

“How you tell me what came out my mouth, you don’t even know Nipsey/Tiny that bitch ugly as hell, I don’t even want Piggy”

That’s one hell of an escalation, which — hopefully — won’t end up creating more violence….which was exactly the point that many of Nipsey’s supporters have been trying to get at this month (shoutout to Big U and the pillars that have pushed for this).
