Pusha T – Miss Peas (2dopeboyz) Interview

I recently connected with Pusha T at the Mezzanine during his stop on his “Life is So Exciting” tour in San Francisco with Fabulous. King Push elaborated on the necessity to parallel his forth coming highly anticipated G.O.O.D Music release, My Name is My Name, with the legendary HBO fan favorite, The Wire. He also shares his thought process behind the street anthem “Numbers on the Boards”, and breaks down the science behind his No Malice assisted project, “As God as My Witness”.

The-Dream Feat. Pusha T & Big Sean – Pussy (Video)

Folks, the sales projections are in….and, while his singles and his contributions to other artists are on fire, The-Dream still can’t sell a full body of work. Above is his latest visual for the single ‘Pussy’, which is so not safe for work and straight to the point (the artists aren’t even in the clip) that he might as well have posted a porno in it’s place. If that won’t get you to buy his album, what will?

RECAP: Gig It Launch Party In NYC

Taken from Miss Info, you can explain it better than me (being that she was there):

Gig It? We were pretty confused by the name, too. But last night, NYC media folks were invited out try out the new online game with a ton of special guests. 90% of them being rappers. Everyone from Rick Ross, Pusha T, Raekwon, Ace Hood, French Montana, Fabolous, Busta Rhymes, Nas, 2 Chainz, DJ Khaled, Slaughterhouse, Large Professor, Ace Hood, Ne-Yo, Jaime Foxx, T-Pain and more were roaming around the VIP. The game basically allows you to pick real rappers and customize a custom concert with every detail catered to your liking. You can choose the music, backup dancers, speakers, opening act, headline performers, wardrobes, sponsors, etc. So far all of the artists mentioned are in the game, with more big announcements to come.

Pusha T’s debut album hasn’t even dropped and he’s already planning his next album. In an interview with Ask Men, he says that his sophomore album will be named King Push:

K: What else is on the horizon for you? Another G.O.O.D. Music compilation album?
PT: I really don’t know. I’m really on My Name Is My Name, and then my next album after that. I already got the whole mentality of it. I see it. It’s titled King Push. I don’t even think there’s going to be anybody on King Push.

SK: I like that. No features.
PT: Zero.
