Shy Glizzy releases the visual for the intro off his upcoming mixtape Young Jefe which drops tomorrow. Directed by Amil Barnes and Produced by Roger Beats. Can’t wait to hear this project.
@ShyGlizzy – Or Nah (Prod. by Cardo) (No DJ)

Here is one of two last leaks before Glizzy’s Magnum Opus Young Jefe. Although the tagged version of Shy & Cardo’s “Or Nah” dropped before, we have a tagless version thanks to TNT. Watch out for “La Introduccion (The Intro)”, which is dropping at 7 via TrillHD and the project of course, which comes out tomorrow at 2 PM (Eastern Time).
@ShyGlizzy & @1YOUNGSCOOTER – Medellin (Prod. by @zaytovenbeatz)

Shy Glizzy drops his last single before the Young Jefe project comes out, featuring Young Scooter and Zaytoven on the beat. Glizzy is at his peak with simple but catchy lyrics. This repetitive style is complimented by Scooter’s ghostly verse and a Zay beat that is darker than his normal work.This should be the record of the year, take note.
Shy Glizzy & Young Scooter – Medellin (Prod. by Zaytoven) (Artwork)

I got in trouble for talking about this track before (my apologies) but this might be the track of the year…no joke. Just wait until tomorrow, XXL is gonna have the premiere.
Shy Glizzy x Lil Bibby – Wassaname
Shy Glizzy let’s go of a new record with Lil Bibby that will probably not appear on his upcoming mixtape Young Jefe, which is now set to drop on February 17th. Until then, check out this record below.
Was @ShyGlizzy’s #YoungJefe Pushed Back to February 17th?

Say in ain’t so Shy! According to Live Mixtapes’ twitter (which Shy retweeted), Shy Glizzy’s tape Young Jefe has been pushed back two weeks from this Monday, February 3rd, to February 17th. Damn, I was really waiting on this one. Maybe we’ll be getting some new surprises with the delay? I hope so anyways…

UPDATE: While the previously posted artwork (that’s still below) is what we saw on Live Mixtapes pre-release for Young Jefe, it wasn’t the official one, as Shy Slizzy has since confirmed:

@ShyGlizzy – Or Nah (Prod. by @CardoGotWings) (Tags)
Another Shy leak from Young Jefe that appeared on Strictly For the Traps N Trunks 70, which he hosted. Cardo on the beat!
@ShyGlizzy – Hunduns Ft. @astonmarphi (Tags) (Prod. @EA_MUZIK)

Shy Glizzy hosted Traps N Trunks’ latest mixtape in the Strictly For series and gave them two exclusives. “Hunduns” is the first one. This one sounds like it was produced by E A, who did “Awwsome.” Get the whole tape here
@IamGooMarley – M.O.E (Marley Over Everything) (Mixtape)

Uptown vet Goo Marley drops his tape MOE after years of grinding and some time spent in prison (although he’s been out for a year.) Basically this is that aggressive shit you need in your life, whether you know it or not. The tape is mostly trap, but Marley switches it up too, singing and talks a real story on “Let’s Ride”. Some old collaborators show up, like Shy Glizzy, J5, Airport Tone and Mayo show up, along with some new ones like AB Icee and Yung Gleesh…basically check this tape out, its probably what you’ve been missing.
Vibe Presents: 5 Shy Glizzy Songs You Need To Hear
Today, Vibe made a list of 5 songs from Shy Glizzy you need to hear from his four mixtapes. Check out the list right here. Young Jefe drops February 3rd.
G$tar Giorgio Ft. Shy Glizzy – $wagg Back (Video) (Prod. Metro Boomin)
I’ve been hearing about G$tar Giorgio for a minute, from Los and from Bucky Malone (he appeared on Bucky’s tape last month.) I was always impressed with the VA rapper’s memorable rap style, especially here. I guess I wasn’t paying enough attention, because this new video for “$wagg Back”, shot by Muddy District caught me completely off-guard. With a captivating flow, a catchy hook, a Metro Boomin’ beat that doesn’t compromise his approach and a well-placed Glizzy guest verse, I can’t sleep on this track or G$tar anymore.
Plies – Everybody Ft. Shy Glizzy (Prod. by Zaytoven)

This track appeared on Plies’ latest mixtape, another big step for Shy Glizzy, who was on the hook and had a guest verse for “Everybody”, produced by Zaytoven. Expect to hear more from Shy and Zaytoven on the upcoming project Young Jefe, which we talked to Shy about in our interview with him recently.
@ShyGlizzy – OG Bobby Johnson Freestyle
$hy Glizzy is putting the finishing touches on his upcoming mixtape Young Jefe and today he drops off a new freestyle over Que’s single “OG Bobby Johnson.” Take a listen below because Glizzy killed this shit. #YoungJefe hitting the streets on February 3th.
@Test410_ – Kno Dey Jealous Ft. @ShyGlizzy

I thought I would just highlight this Test and Shy Glizzy collaboration that appeared on the Baltimore rapper’s mixtape that dropped yesterday. It was interesting to see a song with two artists from nearby cities who both have comparable ties to Atlanta scene both in the way they sound and in the artists they run with. Test’s gravely voice works well over the SM Tracks beat, both on the auto-tuned hook and on the staccato verses. Glizzy uses more of the same flow that was on “Awwsome” and it works well for a short feature. This and “I Ain’t Never” were standouts from the project for me.
@ShyGlizzy – Shit (Video)
Shy Glizzy releases the visual for his freestyle over Future’s hit single ‘Shit’. Young Jefe is about to heat up the streets in a few weeks on February 3rd.
FADER Says Shy Glizzy Outshines Future On DJ Esco’s Mixtape
DJ Esco released his Future-hosted No Sleep mixtape last month…today, FADER put out their review. In said review, the magazine wrote that Shy Glizzy outshines Future…and I totally agree with that. Check out the excerpt below.
