From Billboard:

The-Dream’s fourth album will land May 7, the musician said backstage after picking up a Grammy for his contributions to Jay-Z, Kanye West and Frank Ocean’s “No Church in the Wild.” Speaking of West, The-Dream (real name: Terius Nash) also revealed his plans to head overseas to lend a hand to the follow-up to 2010’s “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.”

“May 7, my album drops and the name is ‘Fourplay,'” he told Billboard. The album was previously called “Love IV” and set for a March release. He’ll release the set’s latest single, “Slow It Down,” on Thursday.

The album’s been delayed thanks in part because of his work on Beyonce’s next album, though he wouldn’t give up any details on Queen B’s latest.

The-Dream(@MrTeriusNash) Appointed Def Jam VP of A&R

Today R & B thug The-Dream was named Vice President of A&R. Mr Nash spoke on his new position below:

“I am committed as I have been previously to bringing the power of belief in the artist back to the forefront. I share a unique view of an artist and as well as the business of music. I, with the help of many others, have ran a successful business for the last five years in the midst of the “Digital Change.”

My concentration and effort will be to the artist to succeed in their dreams and goals. I’ve been a part of watching and participating in the success of many great women and men including Beyonce, Rihanna, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion to name a few. Music means more than just a download, it’s life to the culture and also the people who listen. This is a new exciting yet critical time for music – ‘You Meet Change with Change!’”
